The commentators seem to be raving about him every time his name is anywhere near the team sheet. I can't say I've seen anything of him though.
Came on against us in the Cup and was probably their best player. Glides across the pitch.
No doubt he'll be ridiculously hyped simply for being an English player with technique though.
We don't even need a 15 goal a season striker, I'd like to think we've got that now in Carroll. All we need is somebody with reasonable movement and pace that can link up play. I'm sure we could get a half decent foil for Carroll for cheap enough. It wouldn't take much to significantly improve on what we have.
The problem is ideally we need to move atleast 2 strikers on aswell.
Clichy barely knows how to defend anymore.
I don't know what the problem is with Arsenal and fullbacks. Sagna has declined for no real reason. Remember looked like becoming one of the world's best players? Now he is just a headless chicken who's took stupid to defend and too unreliable to start on the wings.
Same with Eboue.
Although he might just be a bit shit anyway.
It's boring and distracts everyone from the game. I doubt Duff gave a f***.
I doubt it did bother the toerag, and for what it's worth I didn't boo him. But people are entitled and justified in doing so if they wish.
He's got an annoying voice aswell actually, Duff. Plus his running style
is shit. Urgh.
To do a 5-month job similar to what Beattie did for Stoke a couple of seasons ago, I'd take him.
Yeah, I agree. Could see Hughton agreeing too, he must realise we need some kind of solution to the striking problem.
Was dire against the mackems IMO.
Still think the player he was at Blackburn is there somewhere though, if somebody was to have a bit of faith in him. Moot point though, Spurs will want serious wedge regardless so I don't think he's realistic.
