Makes me cry to see him on the bench and Milner on the pitch.
-
Silva should start.

Tbf, we matched this lot away from home just 2 weeks ago.
-
B'pool or Shitty? Both. I seem to have the same feeling about the majority of Premier league games I watch.

Bridge is s***. He really is. Got raped by Gary Taylor Fletcher before. Sure he used to be quite good when he came through at Saints.
-
City looking pretty shit again tbh. Special mentions to the shitness of Bridge and Adebayor.
-
Seemed to remember at the last second he needed to shout it.

I agree about Perch. I think he's nowhere near a Premier League player, but he's honest and a hardworker so I cannot find a logical reason to dislike him as a person. The only blame that should be placed with regards to him is the scouting staff and manager who assessed him to be good enough.
-
Yeah, I edited my post in retrospect of two different points.
-
I agree. I'd still swap him for a talented twat in an instant, however.
-
I've seen him out, he's a f***ing prick. And no he hasn't. Fair enough, you've seen him out once or twice before and made the assumption he's a prick. Understandable why you wouldn't class him as 'likeable'. Still don't see anything wrong with his attitude in terms of being a Newcastle player, though. Which seems to be brought up time ant time again on here.
-
He hasn't and he isn't really. Well, he's on a professional contract, so he has. I don't know the kid so I'm not going to make a judgement on him as a person or criticise his attitude. Where are people making this assumption from anyway, his ramblings on Myspace when he was 17? I haven't heard anything negative about him in the 2 years he's been a Newcastle player.
-
Yeah, because you all know the guy personally. He's made it as a professional footballer playing for a Premier League team, he's doing something right.
-
Exactly. We were significantly better than them last season, yet because of investment in the right areas during the transfer market and a more positive approach in the league they've now leapfrogged us.
-
He's basically God. What a man.

Lovenkrands is absolutely useless out wide. I'm sure we've clarified this numerous times in the past. -

That's fucking horrific. Seriously dreadful.

Shame, they should make it possible to do swapsies.
-
That's just ridiculous.

Yeah, changed it straight after I typed that, dunno why I put Celta Vigo. I heard about him a while ago and remember watching videos in awe, and he was mentioned in a podcast I listen to the other day. Maradona seemed to rate him very highly. I have to say I was only 5-6 years old when he was in his prime, but he was still a great player to watch during his latter years in La Liga. Extremely unprofessional and unfocused, sadly. Shame. Just watching Youtube videos of him now, some of the things he does with the ball are incredible. As good close control and dribbling as anybody in the modern game, infact I think there is definitely similarities to Messi in the few snippets I've watched. Seems to do the 'Elastico' trick that Ronaldinho made his own aswell, doubt there were many players with that kind of trickery in their locker back then.

Question time again. You know much about 'Magico' Gonzalez, the Salvadoran that played for Cadiz? Was he as good as they say?
-
They are penniless, plus have had 3 managers in the past months, of which the latter two (Arconada and MandiĆ”) I don't rate at all. They still have pretty decent players for this level, but they won't contend for promotion in my opinion. Who do you think will be promoted? Obviously Barca B cannot but they are doing very well it seems. I'd like to see Las Palmas come up, went to see a third division game when I was there.
