VI rated him on here in the past, and I agree with him, he's looked quality whenever I've seen him. We could probably get him relatively cheaply aswell. Another player we were linked with in the summer who signed for Mallorca is De Guzman, he's quickly became their most most important player this season. Laudrup is basically building the team around him.

I still genuinely don't understand how Milner is so highly rated. He's undoubtedly improved since he left us, but he always looks so average when you watch him play. I thought he was particularly shit against us.

The only reason I can think why people would rate Given higher is bias. However even when Given was on top form for us there was still always huge faculties of his game that let him down.

Given marginally is the better shot-stopper, and that is it. There's a reason Given is sitting on the bench.
