^^^ Aye, that's the one Disco. If you've got an iPod or owt you can subscribe to it on iTunes. Or just download the file straight onto you PC. Basically they have a South American, European, North American, African and Asian expert - along with other random guests at times. Usually have 2-3 of them on at a time and just take calls and e-mails about certain players, tactics, teams, and other s**** like that. Easy listening if you're on a journey on a bus/train. Comes out on Podcast on every Saturday, not long after the original broadcast.

Disaster of a RB, not bad as a quick option at RM however.
-
3 enough for you Kez?

The original plan was Mourinho wanted Ramos at CB, since they've lost a CB in Metzelder. Can't say I'd trust Ramos to be be a CB though.

Absolutely woeful offer, Moratti will tell them where to go with that. Graham Hunter reckons Inter set that price. Doubt it tbh. They were demanding 35mill last week, which is only right for a player the best in his position.

Training with us according to nufc.com.

Did we ? when did that happen ? End of last season. Danquah and Baheng were among those released. Shocked..I thought both showed promise.. from what I seen of em anyway. They were both hastely signed to just fill up places in the youth team weren't they? When there wasn't enough youngsters promoted.

Aye, he had a spell where he scored for fun, I remember 4 in 1 game. Since then he's returned to being absolutely shite, and his career is far too long in the tooth to start turning it round now. Slow, terrible touch, doesn't score. Sounds like value for money.

Benjani would just be a really shit signing. He's scored 1 league goal in 2 years.
-
Signing Benjani will just leave us with a further depth of rubbish upfront. He'd offer nothing different to what we have.
-
Has been fucking terrible for about 3 seasons now though, and is already 31.

Fucking christ.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

The way that reads it sounds like you're happy for the lad scoring at Old Trafford in your dream -
Cesc is going nowhere, and if he does eventually they'll get probably get Zlatan off you and serious cash to reinvest. Here's hoping... not looking likely I admit. Not really trusting Wenger would do much with money, actually. Wenger does better seemingly spending fuck all than he does trusted with serious cash. Some of his bargains over the years are incredible. Hopeless cretins don't win La Liga twice on the trot while not managing Barça or Real Madrid either. I really, really dislike the guy, but the amount of stick he gets is not warranted. Yeah, I'm not a fan of his style, infact he irritates the hell out of me but he's one of the top coaches in the world atm. He'll undoubtedly rack up the trophies at Inter aswell, I could see him winning the CL tbh.
-
Hope that forces us to sign a defender, just not Sulzeer.

Benitez isn't really a hopeless cretin. Hopeless cretins don't get signed by the European Champions days after being sacked.

I'm still hoping we'll sign de Guzman despite that story only lasting for a day. If we are going to go with 1 upfront we need players like him to be the link. -

I am thinking CH will go soemthing like 4-3-3 with Jonas Carroll Routledge up front and three of Smith Barton Guthrie Nolan (depending on who's not injured/imprisoned). 4-5-1, then. I still don't rate him as any better than Carroll, he's never been as prolific as Carroll in the Championship. -
It's not exactly a massive step up. Going from a team who should just about survive relegation to a team who should about finish top half of the bottom half. It's only about 1 run up on the ladder, not really worth the risk in his career tbh.

Carroll is no better than Jerome. He's a better footballer and a bigger threat in the air. Jerome is pretty much dogshit and has pace as his only outlet. I know which one I'd rather have at the club. -

You don't even need anything close to worldbeaters. Birmingham had Jerome and Benitez upfront for most of the season didn't they? Carroll is better than Jerome, all we need is the Benitez type player - just hopefully we get a more productive one than 'Chucho'. -

Definitely, I think most on here agreed that whatever budget we have should go towards that. Still hoping that's the case...
