Same, really nice mix of teams in there.

The great Colo vs Jonas goal battle is far more interesting tbh.

Just got back, without a doubt Scunthorpe were the worst, and the most gutless opposition team I've ever seen at St. James' Park. We never got out of first gear and yet we could have easily got 7 or 8 without even breaking sweat. Absolutely pedestrian performance from us and yet we still ran rings around them for 90 minutes.

No. He isn't a big name here and has never been linked to us. Our most spoken targets for that area are Silva, Ribery and Di María. Another usually mentioned option is shipping Iniesta there permanently with the signing of Cesc. Modric is a great player, but on the evidence of this season I'd like somebody a bit more direct. Currently only Messi runs at players in our team. Good. He was linked to you lot before he came to us, and he's a Barca fan. Out of those options i'd go with Ribery before Cesc tbh. Not saying he's a better player but he's more direct and no point shifting Iniesta out of position for a whole season (i know he's played that role before but still). He developed his career there actually, mostly because he couldn't get many games in the centre with Xavi and Deco. But he is a diminished player in the wing in my opinion. I've always disliked seeing Iniesta out wide. Barca always look better with Xavi and Iniesta in the centre together imo, I've seen games where Iniesta has started outwide and later been shifted centrally and subsequently the game has changed trememndously in Barca's favour. Just looks so much more comfortable there. Do you not think the left wing spot would be better filled by an out and out forward player rather than a winger/attacking midfielder? I mean Henry is no winger and he has played that position the last couple of seasons. I know the versatility of say Silva for example would mean he'd have little trouble slotting in on that side, but I always it feel it would be better to have a bigger goal threat there. What about Luis Suarez as an option there, scoring goals for fun in Holland (aye ana) cutting in from the left flank. Probably not as technically adept as say Silva but boy can he strike the ball. Guess it would be a gamble though, there's a chance he's not really of the highest quality.

That shirt of hurt idea is fucking wank anyway imo. Would rather just donate money.

Absolute tactical masterclass from Mourinho and Inter that. Say what you like about the gamesmanship from Inter at times, they were by far the better side. I really can't remember a clear cut chance Chelsea had in that game, or in the first leg for that matter (Kalou's pen shout maybe).

4-3-3. Nice one Inter, fingers crossed for a Turnbull horror show.

He along with Messi practically carried Barca for the first half of the season, when the likes of Henry and Iniesta were miles out of form he was scoring goals. If his form doesn't pick up between now and the end of the season it starts to enter flop territory, but not yet.

Torres - Zlatan - Messi in full flow.

From what I've heard he's very much in the Palacios mould. If so, how is he gonna fit into your midfield? Then again, squad depth is no harm.

Colo for me.
-
Which cunts voted for the likes of Jose, Colo, Guthrie, Lovenkrands, Vuckic..
-
Ooof. There's the media taken up for tomorrow then.
-
Meh. Generally, there is less risk than other regions.
-
Away to Palermo next week? That's a very tough game.
-
Well that's a very irritating goal.
-
Really?
-
Yeah, Madrid definitely need to get rid of that bloke like.

Not to jump on stereotypes, but you genuinely can't go wrong with Scandinavian players. Fulham are a good example.

Pretty much like over here tbh. The coverage of Spanish/European football in papers is non-existant, don't suppose you know any good English language websites dedicated to (or atleast focus on partly) Spanish football? mind you sky show more la liga games than EPL games, their's 4 every weekend Best thing about Sky Sports subscription imo. Regularly watch La Liga more than Premier League on Sky.

Wish El Clasico would hurry up and come round again.

He seems to make up absolutely everything he says. His 'insider' information just changes completely from week to week. His opinions on players and genuine football understanding seems okay though, atleast when put in comparison with English pundits.

Yezzir Good stuff, wouldn't have liked to miss that. You ever watch Revista de la Liga? They're in some kind of mock up Spanish bar now with sound loops of talking and plate clattering in the background, it looks stupid. Saw that, wasn't sure if it was just a one-off. Yeah I wasn't sure either. But they were making jokes half way through about the set up and background chat to suggest it wasn't a real bar so I made the assumption they wouldn't have that all set up for 1 show.
