  1. Nice that he wants to stay, but he needs to take a hell of a wage cut to make it worth keeping him.
  2. I was really looking forward to this game, now I don't care any more.
  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8048308.stm Video at the top.
  4. Some cunt needs to smack that fucker into next week
  5. I just got a very, funny nervous feeling when I realised it's now Sunday. Just the thought of it, by 6pm tonight we could know for sure that we will be playing Championship football next season. Shit, I've know for ages we could go down, but just thinking about it like that now is a horrible realisation.
  6. I doubt you'd be thrown out for celebrating in the director's box. Would I not? Good. Just I have been implored not to. Anyway there's a chance I could be back in the away end again.
  7. I think I'm now watching it from the worst possible place. My underhand ticket for this game has 'fell through', but I've been blagged a ticket in... The Aston Villa directors box. That's right, the ASTON VILLA directors box. Oh my goodness, I now have to wear formal clothes and the the slightest bit of emotion will have me thrown out. Seriously, I don't think I'm not gonna be able to celebrate if we score, but some how, I'm going to have to restrain myself. I can't really say no to this ticket now, my friends Dad has used every connection possible to get this and I'd be an absolute c*** to turn it down.
  8. Maicon keeps Alves out of the Brazil squad, he's better than any RB in this country.

Them quotes look suspiciously like the Bassong quotes.
  10. Got ticket today, there's one decision made for me.
  11. I remember Motta being pap at Barca and Atletico, haven't seen him in Serie A at all though. Surely, there is far better targets Inter could be going for? Milito is a proven goalscorer and will be good for Inter, however he will be 30 by the start of next season, letting a young talent like Acquafresca go and replacing him with an aging player just doesn't seem logical, even if he is good.
  12. Are they any good? Heard about Delph before i think, haven't we been linked with him before? having being to Elland Road a few times this season I think their best prospect is Beechio. Delph is good and we should go for him certainly. As for Beckford, if we're in the championship - yes. although he's a 24 karat c***. In the premiership he absolutely will not cut it, poor natural footballing ability Becchio is a decent player, but he's 25 and has spent most of his career in the Spanish lower divisions, I doubt he'd be good enough for the Premiership and probably wont get much better. Delph is a huge prospect though, only 19 and looks far too good for League One, future England player. I agree with you about Beckford. So, if we're Premier League next year sign Delph. Championship, we could do alot worse than signing either one of their strikers.
  13. My 'away record' is also shocking. All the away games ive been to: 3 defeats at Wigan 3 defeats at Bolton 1 defeat at Liverpool 1 defeat at Man Utd 1 defeat at Derby 1 defeat at Sunderland (plus one win in the Dabizas game, but I was in home end) 1 defeat at Celtic (friendly) 1 draw at Leeds (home end) 1 draw at Blackburn 1 draw at Carlisle (friendly, but I thought the horrific record would end that day) 1 defeat FA Cup Semi at Cardiff 1 extra time win at Coventry!!!! The highlight. Probably a good job I cant afford to go. Liverpool 2-0 Newcastle (Xabi Alonso halfway line) Middlesbrough 1-0 Newcastle Wigan 1-0 Newcastle Man U 6-0 Newcastle Liverpool 3-0 Newcastle Blackburn 3-0 Newcastle Bolton 1-0 Newcastle 17 Against. 0 For.
  14. I still might be getting a ticket off a mate. I'm not the superstitious types but that would probably be a bad idea, in 7 away games I've been to I've yet to see us score or get a result. So, barring getting a ticket for the game I'll be watching it on the telly at home, probably on my own.
  15. Aren't Sunderland at home for the last game? Aye, they are. Apologies.
  16. How many of us thought, that after Freddie left, a couple of years down the line we would be taking him back with open arms.
  17. That team is scarily weak. The rest of the country will be in hysterics if it results in our relegation. This whole weakened team thing probably puts a big importance on the Mackems game on monday. Think about it, if we do the impossible and win at Villa there's probably more chance of a Hull win than Sunderland beating Chelsea at the bridge. Although will Chelsea rest players for the Cup final
  18. I don't think I'll be able to watch, but I'll make myself anyway.
  19. Why is the Copa del Rey final not on Sky when almost every other round has been?
  20. Minging seeing local talent doing that for Man U.
  21. Andy Gray saying it was a definite penalty
