I'm there, yet to see us win away ever. (7 games this season) Don't get your hopes up. -

Don't even want to comment on this signing. I've tried not to write him off but he just looks so crap. -

Pitch invasion after the goal was class. Mint when Pancrate just charged out and then fans got stuck in aswell -
He looks good like. Love defenders who have a composed style and pass the ball away. Hopefully he turns out as good as he always seems to on FM
-
How is he in general? Don't really watch enough (any) of Palermo to give you a proper opinion. Apparently he's highly rated though.
-
Milan go top with a win tomorrow then. Cavani turning into Samuel's fallen body when in on goal
-
He's certainly been around in his career like. Never realised all the clubs he'd managed, aswell as 3 national teams.

It is a sad state of affairs when one considers a match against Bayern Munich ansd then against the teams that have won Ligue 1 for eight years running as a bye. The fact of the matter is that both will be difficult to navigate for Man U, imo. Bayern and Lyon are good sides with experience in the competition, while it seems Bordeaux have saved their best football for Europe. I was joking in considering it a 'bye', but genuinely they've gotten an absolutely piss easy side of the draw. Bayern haven't pulled up trees all tournament and should genuinely already be out. Both French sides would be reasonably hard game but I honestly can't see them losing. I'd love them to get beat and for a French side to make the final I just can't see it at all. It's a sad state of affairs I agree but Man U are an absolute class above them 3 teams.

Funnily enough over here every Barca and Madrid game is televised on Sky. Copa and League.
-
Man U having a bye to the final - gay. One from Barca/Inter/Arsenal in the final - good stuff.
-
Sick, wanted Kazan to win. Or atleast get to see pens ffs.
-
Herbert Kilpin and Jimmy Greaves.
-
Daft twat near me has Butt on the back ffs. This years shirt and lettering anarl.

Nights like that are exactly why you shouldn't fuck about playing weak teams in Europe for the sake of mediocrity in the league. European games should be savoured and given absolutely everything, class result for Fulham - absolutely delighted for Hodgson.
-
Don't see the deal with Bayern at all. They shouldn't even be in the quarter finals tbh, scraped out of the group stages and then through the last 16 on a jammy offside goal.
-
Same, really nice mix of teams in there.
-
The great Colo vs Jonas goal battle is far more interesting tbh.

Just got back, without a doubt Scunthorpe were the worst, and the most gutless opposition team I've ever seen at St. James' Park. We never got out of first gear and yet we could have easily got 7 or 8 without even breaking sweat. Absolutely pedestrian performance from us and yet we still ran rings around them for 90 minutes.

No. He isn't a big name here and has never been linked to us. Our most spoken targets for that area are Silva, Ribery and Di MarĂa. Another usually mentioned option is shipping Iniesta there permanently with the signing of Cesc. Modric is a great player, but on the evidence of this season I'd like somebody a bit more direct. Currently only Messi runs at players in our team. Good. He was linked to you lot before he came to us, and he's a Barca fan. Out of those options i'd go with Ribery before Cesc tbh. Not saying he's a better player but he's more direct and no point shifting Iniesta out of position for a whole season (i know he's played that role before but still). He developed his career there actually, mostly because he couldn't get many games in the centre with Xavi and Deco. But he is a diminished player in the wing in my opinion. I've always disliked seeing Iniesta out wide. Barca always look better with Xavi and Iniesta in the centre together imo, I've seen games where Iniesta has started outwide and later been shifted centrally and subsequently the game has changed trememndously in Barca's favour. Just looks so much more comfortable there. Do you not think the left wing spot would be better filled by an out and out forward player rather than a winger/attacking midfielder? I mean Henry is no winger and he has played that position the last couple of seasons. I know the versatility of say Silva for example would mean he'd have little trouble slotting in on that side, but I always it feel it would be better to have a bigger goal threat there. What about Luis Suarez as an option there, scoring goals for fun in Holland (aye ana) cutting in from the left flank. Probably not as technically adept as say Silva but boy can he strike the ball. Guess it would be a gamble though, there's a chance he's not really of the highest quality.

That shirt of hurt idea is fucking wank anyway imo. Would rather just donate money.

Absolute tactical masterclass from Mourinho and Inter that. Say what you like about the gamesmanship from Inter at times, they were by far the better side. I really can't remember a clear cut chance Chelsea had in that game, or in the first leg for that matter (Kalou's pen shout maybe).
-
4-3-3. Nice one Inter, fingers crossed for a Turnbull horror show.

He along with Messi practically carried Barca for the first half of the season, when the likes of Henry and Iniesta were miles out of form he was scoring goals. If his form doesn't pick up between now and the end of the season it starts to enter flop territory, but not yet.

Torres - Zlatan - Messi in full flow.
