    Nile Ranger

Don't suppose anybody has any clips of Ranger's reserve and youth goals this season?
  2. It was fairly obvious USA were the worst team in this group, no surprise that they have sucked.
  3. We're playing Netherlands in a friendly soon, that means if we beat them we take the crown?
  4. Diarra will be the player that gives freedom to the likes of Ronaldo and Kaka, he's played basically every game since signing for them and has been their standout player, along with Higuian. Shades of Makelele already.
  5. Key term. Got optimistic before 06 and that turned into a right pile of shit. Like you say Capello is definitely the main source of optimism, just get the sense he can get them to cut it when it matters, the knockout rounds of the World Cup.
  6. We're 4th favourites with English bookies. Fair point, however it's probably a fair assesment if you ask me because every other big footballing nation is playing like s*** at the moment. Spain and Netherlands aside.
  7. With the exception of Spain and possibly Netherlands, who we play next month. There are no teams who look much better than England at the moment, and apparently we're 4th favourites to win it. I've never been this confident in an England team before, we appear to finally have the right manager. As for Beckham I still think he's more than worthy of having around, because he offers something nobody else in the team really does. However I don't think the 'quarterback' role that Beckham played tonight would work against anybody half decent. I remember Sven trying it out in numerous friendlies and it was a mess, it was only successful tonight because Beckham had as much time and space to play as he could ever of wanted and because the Andorra full backs didn't pull wide, the wingers had acres of space to recieve the ball.
  8. Top 4 qualify, 5th plays the 4th placed North American team. Which currently happens to be Mexico, who are also relatively useless at the moment.
  9. Was just about to point this out. Argentina really will struggle to qualify, Maradona is proving himself to be totally useless tactically. Their next 3 games: Brazil at home Paraguay(2nd in the group) away Uruguay away All very losable games, while Ecuador have a far easier run in.
  10. Good good This is gonna be a frustrating game I reckon, out of the European minnows Andorra are usually the hardest to break down. They usually park the bus and attempt to injure the opposition. 3-0 England.
  11. Yep, then went out on loan to Norwich & Barnsley. Thought he was brilliant in that tournament. Was fucking shite for both of them aswell apparently. Didn't score in 20 games for Barnsley.
  12. Kaka is £56 Million apparently, that tops the £45.6 Million paid for Zidane.
  13. Kaka to Real, signed sealed and delivered. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8082147.stm
  14. There's no way he'd be good enough for first team Bundesliga football. If there is any truth in this they'll be signing him for the future, not next season.
  15. Yep, he was. Though I didn't see the game. Watched extended highlights this morning. He was fantastic, set up the only goal, hit the post twice and got a standing ovation when brought off with 5 to go! Only kidding just an extention of what he did for us. Huffed and puffed a lot, work well forwards and backwards, whilst being difficult to disposses. Other than that, no significant contribution To be fair that entire Argentina team looked lost last night, took a goal from a set piece for them to struggle to a win.

  17. I think he's a cock smoker myself. So do I, he's an egotistical c*** who talks s**** to the media all the time, the daft t***. "Cock smoker" LOL "Egotistical C*** who talks s**** to the media" Which chairman doesn't ? You have to hand it to him - with Wigwam's attendances, like Wimbledon, totally dependent on visiting fans, and also like Wombles, they are a Div2 in the Prem, to be honest. Yet they stay there comfortably while we are in the Chumpionship. Says it all. He's done well with little while our chairmen have created a horror show from a LOT do you mean MK Dons? Wimbeldon are in the Blue Square Prem. He's talking about how the old Wimbledon survived in the Prem I think. They were a tiny team but survived in the Premiership for ages, despite very low attendances, like Wigan. MK Dons are a totally different prospect, they're a franchise supported by a bunch of plastic fans but could probably survive in the Prem due to their large catchment area. I have no doubt that they will be a Premiership team in 5 years. However, if you were just being pedantic and saying MK Dons are the continuation of Wimbledon, technically yeah, but they are an entirely new club really.
  18. However often Ibrahimovic has flopped in Europe he's still a class player. He practically carries Inter at times, creates and scores their goals, their entire attack is based around him. His control and technique are impecable, and on his day he can be spectaular. I just can't see him at Barca, their whole ethic is based around hard work, their players run, pressure and hastle players when they don't have the ball, right through the entire outfield they all work so hard. This could be where it doesn't work for Ibra, if he cannot adapt himself and learn to make an effort all of the time, aswell as deflate his enormous ego then he isn't gonna fit into that star-studded, but hard working Barca team. However if he does move, and he is a success at Barca, he will be spectacular for them. I actually see Forlan or Villa being better options for Barca. Forlan/Villa Ribery Messi That front 3 would be incredible, even more so than their current triumvirate.
  19. Sheffield F.C. are the oldest club in the world, had their 150th anniversery a year or so ago.
  20. I agree. I get the impression Lovenkrands hasn't really backtracked at all and that it was just his agent spouting off the usual agent shite. I mean, was there ever actual quotes from Lovenkrands saying that he wanted a new club?
  21. Watching Revista de la Liga and like you said it's unbelievable how similar their situation is to ours. Big fanbase, 52,000 seater stadium, fanatical city, spent big money on overrated s****, they've been ran farcically by their owner, and they even had an inexperienced manager brought in with 10 games to go.
  22. I tend to agree, the club accepted a bid for him, a relatively low bid in regards to English players infact. He was offered probably twice the money he'd be getting at Villa. So O'Neill was willing to let him go, he got offered crazy wages, what would you do in his position?
