Sporcle What a site, very addictive. Got all 42 on this when I did it a few weeks ago.

I've heard from Blyth fans this season that they lost a few players to Blue Star because they threw money at them, and they expected that Blue Star would end up going this way. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is what I heard.
-
This was ALWAYS going to happen. They were spending ridiculous money, they had to be because they were outbidding the likes of Gateshead and Blyth for players to go and play 2 divisions below. It's not a shame that this has happened 2 weeks after promotion, because obviously it's a promotion they didn't deserve. To be honest they have about 100 fans, just not stable to run a football club spending that kind of money.

This thread

I'd be pleased if this were to happen, not a huge fan of Rugby but it could only be good for the city.

Yep, those photos are from last season I think.

Haha, I'm sure I remember seeing photos of them outside the ground with flares.
-
Didn't they try and take flares into the ground once

Fucking hell  -
I agree about him playing his way out of trouble, he doesn't appear to have the technical ability to get away with it every time. Nailed on for player of the season mind, hopefully we can hold onto him.

Played average enough tonight, got an assist aswell.

After getting over the sheer joy and relief of winning tonight, I just remembered we're only safe on goal difference Hull are dreadful but don't disgard the possibility of them getting a result at Bolton, we most take some momentum into this game, a victory is a must. We win and Hull lose and we're all but mathematically safe, lets make these last 2 games as nerve free as possible please lads. -
He's a different kind of player to what I've seen before. He's a winger but he can't arc a cross in like Nobby could, or skip past full backs with sheer pace in the way players like Lennon do. He's got a languid, unorthadox style, as if he's going in slow motion at times, but he goes past players and creates space to open up the game. Anybody who watched him with Mallorca last season would see, he didn't get huge amounts of assists but he was pivotal to everything they did, in keeping possession, running at players and opening up attacks for them. It's this evidence that still has me convinced he could be a big asset for us, surround him with good, attack-minded players that are on the same wave length and he could be hugely effective..

Fucking hell mind, you'd think we'd won the FA Cup or something outside the ground. Car horns and everything

Thankfully not, was a great atmosphere. It helped that the team played well, fans only create an atmosphere if the players respond. The flags are a bit naff but I thought they added a visual side to the atmosphere, wouldn't want them all the time but they were alreet tonight in stirring up noise for a game as important as tonights.
-
I still think he'd be a really good player if he was in a good team, he's proven that with Argentina. Certainly keep him next season, there's alot of deadwood that needs clearing out before Jonas.
-
Aye, cracking finish. Definitely worthy of a contract next season, he's a more than decent squad player.
-
Some fecking prick behind me kept calling him fat useless cunt etc, felt like turning round and telling him to shut the fuck up. When Owen went off he was shouting for it to be Viduka, and when he was announced man of the match he looked totally perplexed. Some of our fans are so fucking thick. Anyway, cracking performance from him tonight

2-4, Game over. El Clásico should be a cracker next week.

Why? It's not like Madrid are Bolton or Stoke. Under Ramos, they've been a good effective team. Okay, maybe a disgrace is an exageration. Maybe I'm just bias.
-
If Real Madrid win La Liga it will be a disgrace to football.

Our joint highest assist contributor this season. Level with Gutierrez on 3.

Totally forgot about this lad, I've never even seen his injury mentioned anywhere or anything, no updates or nowt. If he ever does return surely he'd offer more in midfield than the shower of s*** that player yesterday...
