I have no problems with Gouffran as a person or professional, but as a player his signing was indicative of our transfer policy and lack of ambition. He's a non-event of a player, who's played far too much football for NUFC.

Agree with TT. Experience isn't necessarily whats required out wide. We need pace, unpredictability and youthful enthusiasm - especially with a 'solid' player in Ritchie as our other wide player.
I've liked that our links to wide players have included this guy and those numerous quick French players. Traore too I guess but I think he's shite.
Everybody seemed pretty confident we'd shift all our crappy signings from last summer on to other Championship clubs. Said it before the summer started that it would be a problem doing so because of their wages.
