No meaning to be a dick, but this is a mental response to people not rating Joe Allen, Charlie Adam, Henderson et al.

Allen was apparently £15 million with a £2 million signing on fee for the player. 50k a week.

Liverpool's biggest problem last season, even more so than their finishing was their abysmal midfielders lacking in genuine guile and quality. They have done nothing to address it, Allen is just another expensive step towards mediocrity. He isn't an upgrade on anything, just more 'depth'. Depth is all well and good but the options after Lucas are chronic for a team that has pretences of playing in the Champions League. I don't know whether they could have attracted Cazorla. But there's somebody they're crying out for and for a similar price.

Gerrard will be injured and Lucas will just kill himself at having to play alongside that other shite.

Delighted with the number of clean sheats we kept last season as a team. As individuals though, those 3 are not good enough for England. Seems an absurd victim mentality to claim that the reason they're not in is that 'they're not young or from London'. They're probably not in because as players they aren't good enough.
