Not to mention the possible arrival of Clyne and the fact they looked a better side than Reading last season.
I'll be interested to see how Rodriguez does. Big fee but if he scores goals to keep them up you could justify it.
Steven Davis might be good too.
Not sure how good he is at LB but the very fact Holland played that hopeless kid there in the Euros and Anita didnt go says he mightnt be too good tbh. Unless theres a reason i havent heard?
From what I've read one of the biggest criticisms of BvM was taking Willems and leaving Anita at home who could have done a job at LB.
Have signed Rodallega, Riether and are rumoured to be in a for a few more. I would also imagine Fayed would throw money at any potential relegation problems come Jan if required.
Petric is a decent signing too.
This just made me realise how much dross is actually in the league. Wow, you could make cases for just about everybody from Everton downover.
Edit: Just realised I completely forgot Everton finished above Liverpool. Everybody underneath Liverpool you could make cases for.
On paper I think both Swansea and Norwich made sound managerial appointments. It's just their squads that have me thinking they'll struggle.
WBA on the other hand have potentially made a right howler appointing Steve Clarke.
I just can't see us having 4 right footed fullbacks on the books (Debuchy, Clyne, Santon, Tav) plus two more right footed 'utility' players (Perch, Raylor).

Pompey start with -10
Currently have 8 players on their books, actively trying to remove them all.
League 2 for them season after.
