Cabaye is a different player. Vaughan can disrupt the opposition more, Cabaye is at his best behind the front 2, so really Tiote would be a better comparison. Vaughan made Adam look like a world beater last season, while Tiote must barely go a game without getting booked. IMO Vaughan>Tiote in every way except hype. He left because he wanted Champions League football and to play for Spain, and both of those things don't look any closer. The latter I'm more surprised at than the former mind, I thought as soon as he played his first game in a Liverpool shirt he'd be in the national team.
