Inter and AC always do mint kits.

I'm sure most of those were sarcastic, trying to reverse jinx him before the City game. There was a lot of praise for him in that thread too, and for us in general on their football board. There's a decent amount of good posters on there tbh, with a spectrum of fans from other clubs like on here.

Eh, 'it's a statue ffs'? It fails, imho obviously, to either impress technically or convey any feeling for the man himself, and a statue should have at least one of those attributes. Instead the sculptors limitations distract from the peice to the point that it makes people annoyed that this is what we have to imortlise Bobby. I think he deserved a damn sight better. As POOT said, art is subjective, so fair enough if people like it, great. But for me it's depressingly closer to your Southhampton or mackum statues than our Milburn or his Ipswitch efforts. Nar http://www.shoutingatco.ws/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/ted-bates.jpg Still think this is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Absolutely pissed myself when I first saw it.

Quick, I'll give you that, not strong, can't head the ball. If it wasn't for injuries he'd have never lasted so long at Man Utd, as they'd have seen how fucking shit he was much earlier. Whenever he played consistently he would score. He was a talented and effective forward who's career has been curtailed by injury problems. Ridiculous vendetta.
-
He put a full season together for Fulham and Man U in 2003-2004 and got 20 league goals.
-
Strong, quick, two-footed, intelligent movement and could head the ball. If it wasn't for injuries he'd have been class for Man U. In fact when he did put games together he was.

That's bollocks like. Saha was mint at his best.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2hnYH1aJ-sg/TcDmG4-lwbI/AAAAAAAAADc/NSfJAbabwE0/s320/meme-yao-ming.jpg Unbeaten too. Fair play to Conte, he's done an unbelievable job. Their transfer dealings last summer always looked very good but I never expected them to put it all together this season. Would be a nice draw in the CL next year.

Probably a mackem.

Have you signed up to deliberately do this?

Will we qualify for the Champions League? Sadly not...

What a load of tosh. Clubs winning the lottery and gaining infinite wealth that should be nowhere near football in the first place is not natural progression. It's false and will only serve to extend the monopoly that the Premier League and Champions League have created, in the process screwing over clubs attempting to do things the right way - ie ourselves. Watching them win trophies is certainly not going to be a pleasant change. I'm sure you're over the moon that the existance of your other club (OM) is going to be rendered pointless over the next decade? -

Yet there are some neutrals who probably want to see this. The death of football. -
You can't fill a stadium if you don't have the fanbase. In 1996 Wigan were playing in the 4th tier infront of around 2000 loyal fans, while everybody else in their catchment area was supporting Man U, Blackburn, Man City, Liverpool etc not to mention the rugby team. Those fans are probably still supporting those teams now. It's annoying seeing the empty seats every week and there are teams I'd rather see in the Prem but it is understandable when they've basically had to build a fanbase out of nowhere. It's half the reason the place seems to be packed with kids.

Players You Are Pleased We Didn't Sign (in Retrospect)

Ishmael Miller is absolutely atrocious. -

Fuck that. They will have won a competition we have no influence on to take the place we'd have earned through the season. It may be the rules but that doesn't make it fair. It just works in favour of the monopoly of teams that get in every year. People are making out like it is a fantastic achievement if Chelsea win it. A great underdog story. Not as if they've spent a billion pounds to achieve it or anything. -
That reads like neesy is taking the credit. "Well done and that but it was me who put you through since I predicted it"

I just don't understand that mentality at all. Soz like. -
We're 4 points ahead of Chelsea with 4th place in our own hands. Chelsea being in the final has completely taken it out of our own hands. We won't even be able to celebrate finishing 4th if it happened FFS. How can people try to skew this to be positive is completely beyond me.
-
What's so difficult to understand that the best scenario for us is for Chelsea to have one extra match in the run, get distracted with the CL final and then lose in the finals (which is likely given how many of their key players will be out)? Support Barcelona all you want but don't insult others as not supporting our team just because they have a different view on the best scenario for NUFC There is absolutely no way this is the best possible scenario for NUFC. Jesus Christ.

Barca should never have bought Fabregas. Trophy signing who doesn't fit in and knocks the whole team off balance in the process. Money should have gone on a CB or another proper forward - of any kind.

Are you for real? This is as gutted as I've been all season. Completely agree mate, I feel sick.
