Actually agree with mole. The only reason a club would sign him is for FM type lolz of getting a world class player for the sake of it. He couldn't play as a #9 for Barca because Messi does and Madrid have Ronaldo plus 2 of the best strikers in the world already. Depressingly I'd say Man City is the only likely destination.

I know you like Pardew but you're criticising his performances while disregarding clear contributing factors to why this has happened. It's not a case of him simply not playing well. At the moment we're set up to get work-rate and harrying out of him and that's it.

The two central midfielders are forbidden from exiting the cage and getting forward. The ball is kicked long from the goalkeeper, centre halves and fullbacks as often as possible bypassing the deep-lying midfield. The movement from all our players is limited at absolute best. They're not 'feeble excuses'. The style of football has regressed more and more direct as the season has gone on and as a result Cabaye isn't able to influence on games in the way he did earlier in the season.

The tactics and gameplan are strangling a number of our best players. It's no excuse making, just facts.
