Direct football doesn't always have to be shite. With the right players it can be extremely effective and entertaining, especially in England. Yeah but we're not playing good direct football. We're playing fucking wank football that doesn't suit the players, and marginalising our most talented players by doing so.

The only doubt we had over Pardew was whether he was instructing his players to be more direct or whether it was a by product of lacking confidence and not following instructions. Now we know Pardew WANTS us to play direct, shite football I honestly have lost all faith in him. Call me knee-jerk, I don't care.

Eh? he was being praised by them for leading by example when they won 6 out of 7 games 1-0 a few weeks ago. Has stepped up to the plate as captain, apparently. loads of mancs on redcafe think he's on a pretty steep decline and a shadow of what he was. from an outside perspective i think he's looked pretty good, especially going forward, in recent matches. However most Man Utd fans on these forums are from places like Kenya and Korea and don't know what they're talking about. Nee offence oldtype. Have you seen their thread for the Facebook page? Chester were getting around 500 in by the time they were wound up, at the moment they're getting 3,500 which is more than they ever got even when they were in the Football League. Starting again and forging a togetherness with the community has made them better for it. It could be exactly what Darlo needs, because they're very much a club who's town is almost disinterested. Same with Hartlepool, plenty of football fans in the area who simply don't bother with their local team.

Why would I ever be bitter about mackems. I thank my lucky fucking stars I'm not one every single day.
