  1. Barca's end of season party will be a staging of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Cast: Snow White (Ibrahimovic), the Seven Dwarfs (Messi, Bojan, Alves, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Guardiola).
  2. They won't win. The Man U result was still a one off, it's not they're on a par with the top 4 now (even with Gerrard and Torres missing).
  3. Really? You don't think it would be nice to have an owner who'll hire a manager for the long term, who won't sell our best youngsters and will actually put some effort into the running the club? With Ashley is charge everything is going to be centered around clawing his money back, give me Barry Moat over Ashley any day of the week.
  4. What a c***. Treated Portsmouth and both of their fans with more disdain than Campbell did with Spurs. I think you're a great poster but that is bollocks mate. Cuntbell said time and time again he'd be staying at spurs. Cuntbell said time and time again he'd never join Arsenal. Barca and Milan both offered us in excess of £20 mill but we rejected those bids because that Judas c*** insisted he wants to stay and will sign an extension to his contract when the season is over. Season ends and he signs for Arsenal. And didn't Redknapp say Portsmouth was his spiritual home?

Gotta be the Cole family for me: Andy, Carlton, Joe and Ashley. On a serious note, the Neville family.
  6. Redknapp interview before Pompey v Spurs this weekend: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8307640.stm 3.29: I'm the best manager they've ever had. Really Harry? Not Bob Jackson then? 'arry as 'umble as ever.
  7. Sky Sports News said Argentina had won 1 in 7 before Maradona and 4 in 8 under Maradona. Not as bad as he seems? I mean their football was totally **** But it'll be interesting to see how they play when the pressure is off the likes of Messi.
  8. Why? Heskey is the best partner for Rooney, who is our best player. Crouch is crap as well, just as much a donkey as Heskey, oh he's scored against another pub team! Class.
  9. Examples of him doing that in major tournaments? That's not a very good reason though really, with that logic we should drop Gerrard and Lampard as well. In fact all the players except Rooney.
  10. 1. Rene Adler 2. Andreas Beck 3. Arne Friedrich 5. Heiko Wetsermann 9. Cacau 10. Lukas Podolski 13. Michael Ballack © 14. Piotr Trochowski 15. Thomas Hitzlsberger 16. Philipp Lahm 18. Mario Gomez Ah, I meant kids as in U20s or something, not a youthful team. I didn't realise any proper games had kicked off.
  11. I know we did, Colo ain't all he's cracked up to be, he still looks shaky even that this level. Cardiff missed two clear cut chances and still didn't score (fair enough on the pen though), this doesn't bode well for the league though when the supposedly best attacking team can't score with 70 mins of attack v defence.

  13. When we played the best attacking team in the league (apparently!) in Cardiff, we sat back from 70 mins and they still didn't even come close to scoring really. The strikers in this league are crap and, as I say, as long as the midfield are playing well, we'll easily beat most teams in this league, even with experienced back lines.

Does Spear still look plump/carring puppy fat or has he grown up now? Still looks short and squat. He looks a bit like Tevez, physique-wise.
  15. It's Taylor who we'll miss most, Coloccini plays no better than most of the CBs in the league. Plus I think we'll be fine as long as the midfield do their job, Taylor-Colo has never really been tested that much this season because we've never really played anyone good, last season the midfield were non-existent and so we ended up making loads of defensive errors. We'd probably survive with Simpson-Kadar at CB against Forest in as long as Smith and Nolan are on top form.
  16. Simpson-Zurab-Kadar-Jose On Saturday?
  17. Carroll was only rested against Bristol City, it would be harsh to drop him as well.
  18. As opposed to what at 02.23?....
  19. As for Keegan, I agree facts are facts. As for his claim, many people have explained why it was high, to argue against it would make you look like an idiot. So you think Shearer is **** but you don't hate him. Fair enough. No links offered? (apart from the ones I gave) As I said 'oblique' references. Almost every post you make is pulling someone up for defending Shearer/Keegan. So...how this quote is stupid?: "The Shearer worshippers on here refuse to acknowledge this fact yet trot out excuses for the last 8 games of last season. It is essentially the same depleted squad we have there now that Houghton has managed to motivate (unlike Shearer)" So, we're in a different division which doesn't include Liverpool, Chelsea, Villa, Spurs and Stoke (this should be a big enough reason alone), Hughton has had a pre-season (had time to bond with players, devise tactics, scout teams etc.), he didn't take over a team fresh from defeats but one that had a summer to prepare etc. etc. Where were Hughton's motivational skills in September 08? Or Feb-April 09?
  20. You'd better post me one of my anti-Keegan rants because that's just more blather. There is a massive difference but I'm not going to explain it to you until you can back up a single assertion you have made about me. Comb right thru my posts and you won't find a single one criticising any payout Keegan wanted/claimed for. Surely if I really hated the guy that would be too good an opportunity to pass to put the boot in? Fine, here's some hate for Keegan: http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,60446.msg1719501.html#msg1719501 Some crap about him leaving us in the 's****' which is the usually crap aimed at Keegan (1997, I seem to remember Keegan leaving us at 4th in table with a fairly decent squad; 2008, Keegan leaves three games into the season, leaving us...OH MY GOD...only 35 games to sort ourselves out, yes, well and truly in the 's****') and Shearer: http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,61246.msg2010945.html#msg2010945 Plus many oblique digs at Keegan and about how **** a manager Shearer is. So back, to the Shearer issue: "The Shearer worshippers on here refuse to acknowledge this fact yet trot out excuses for the last 8 games of last season. It is essentially the same depleted squad we have there now that Houghton has managed to motivate (unlike Shearer)" Are you going to explain how this comment isn't stupid?
  21. I didn't backtrack on what I said. I still think you hate Keegan. You attempted to explain your views on him, which was simply you think 'it's time we moved on' which, to be honest, I don't believe because every time I see you post it's anti-Keegan which seems a pretty strong stance for someone who just wants to move on. Then again you could be a WUM... I did write: "And it's not idiotic to say a manager is ***** after 8 games? You're the kind of idiot who gives Newcastle fans a bad name," yeah. And it's true, who judges a manager after eight games? And if you can't grasp the vast differences between the the period when Shearer was in charge and Hughton taking over again then I don't know what to say.
