Ronaldo still having a go at Ranger I see. Why does he desperately need a goal? He's playing well, contributing and we're scoring. If he was playing, not scoring and the team weren't scoring either I'd be worried. At the moment I think he's doing really well, the goals will obviously come, he's got confidence and is a good player (especially for this league).

Heck of a ball down the line from Carroll though. Some of Carroll's link up play has been class.
-
Butt is like Messi. Literally in another dimension when playing. Unfortunately for us Butt's dimension is taking place ten years ago. As for the game, we're not even playing that well, I wouldn't go praising any new systems yet, Ipswich have just been crap.
-
Butt isn't great but we shouldn't get beat even with him on the field. If we get beat it will be because others arent pulling their weight, not just Butt.
-
Sir Bobby signed Taylor. Thought she was a fan?
-
It good that the BBC are focusing equally on both teams. So much about Ipswich.
-
Keane lists Geremi, Smith and Butt as our stars. No wonder he's so bad.

I believe so, UK only. Anyone got a link though? I cant see on the BBC site? Found it! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/match_of_the_day/8275287.stm

I mean on BBC not a stream or anything!

Is this online like the WBA game?

He played for Sweden U16 and U17 and was definitely highly rated, can't remember who said it though. Find it & let me. My guess it would be selling club Porto were interested in him as well, not the best team around but its a nice compliment. Paper/agent talk/hype. Did you just google that & end up at NUFCBLOG like me? Nah, Sky Sports. You're saying its paper talk but if the tables were turned you'd be using it as evidence. Whenever I've seen him play he's been rubbish but he was definitely rated fairly highly, why else would we have bothered to travel to Sweden etc. etc. just to sign him? Because he looked good when we watched him but I am not having this he was highley rated bollocks. Someone like Jack Wilshire is what I would call highly rated not a junior player for a 2nd Div Swedish club who as far as I can recall has not lit up any international junior tournement like Cesc or Vela did. Spear was from Plymouth, not highly rated either then? WTF?!?! Spear WAS a very highly rated schoolboy international. He was from a lower league and had never lit up any international tournament that you need to, to be highly rated.

Rooney not better than Aguero?

Him or Aguero. Aguero? Villa, Ibra at least in Spain alone better than him.
-
A rare goal for Adjei, let's hope he starts to live up to his reputation (I don't know where his reputation came from , but I'm sure he was highly rated before he came?).

Based on the fact that this is a scrappy game (which is hardly surprising considering Pompey are desperate for a win and lacking confidence), the standard of play outside the top 4 is crap? No, it's based on watching teams outside the top 4.

Went over on his ankle in training yesterday, but passed fit this morning. No doubt he'll limp off tomorrow, giving Harewood his debut. Ah, cheers Elma. And, Dave...tut..tut...tomorrow?
-
Reckon he'll start from the bench. Harper R.Taylor S.Taylor Coloccini Enrique Geremi Smith Butt Lovenkrands Nolan Carroll Harewood will start from the bench Geremi not available through illness I think. Therefore Ryan Taylor moved up to right midfield. Think he will start Carroll (passed a fitness this morning) with Ranger. That leaves Smith and Nolan in the middle with Butt vying with Lovenkrands for the final midfield spot. As it's left side I would hope Lovenkrands, but you never know with Hughton. Zurab right-back in place of Danny Simpson. Harewood probably on bench. Simpson and Jonas expected back for QPR, along with Guthrie (obviously). Barton out for a while (probably months). Passed a fitness test? He wasn't injured? He missed the Peterboro game because he was rested.

The standard of play outside the top 4 in the PL is so bad. Both teams playing such scrappy football.

Pompey getting beat again SAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Get it, SAHAHAHAHAHA.

Most people at home games aren't charvs in level 7 though. It's the home cup games in the lower tiers what attract the charvs for some reason, well, probablies 'cos of the cheaps tickets like. I know, I didn't mean that. I was using the term thenorthumbrian used, he seems to think witless charvers = people who sing at matches.
