Even better ones now....*cough* Vuckic *cough*...

Keita has been class so far this season, up there in the top 3 or so players for Barcelona.

Barely heard? It's the only place that sings. You hear a song coming from the Gallowgate about once every game. It's obvious when there's only about 2k people singing it's not going to boom around the stadium.
-
Whenever I've stood in Level 7 everyone (at least in that bit) sang non-stop, last game against Plymouth wasn't that good but Plymouth fans were even worse. And sang about twice all game. Im glad there's 'witless charvers' at the game anyway, it's better than sitting in complete silence.

So we are! Hadn't realised. Obviously no Wilshere etc. then.

Cattermole in the Spanish League man. You aren't even allowed to tackle so Cattermole would get a ten year ban for one his slide tackles. Plus he's ****.

How come England are never in these U20 tournaments? Don't enter? Or just not good enough?

I know he hasn't looked very dangerous but that's what I'm saying, look at Carroll now. The exact same things were said about him and what do you know but a few games later and he looks like a top striker (for this league anyway). a good performance against the worst team (by far) in the championship shouldn't change our perception of Carroll. Carroll to be fair to him reads the game poorly but ten times than Ranger, which is to be expected He's looked good in every game, IMO. The only thing missing were the goals and now he's starting to get them. Shola scored three of his goals against one of the worst teams (were at that point anyway) in the division and yet he seems to be everyone's prediction to be our top scorer.

Mike Atherton's wife?

It depends though, whether he's coming close to scoring or not even looking like scoring. Ranger has looked pretty good for a lad of his age in the games he's played in, but barring that late header cleared off the line at Bloomfield Road he hasn't even looked like scoring for us this Everyone said the same thing about Carroll though? Now he's got 2 in 2 and has a very good chance of being a top scorer come the end of the season, IMO.

Has Wenger always been forced into sales though? It seems like Arsenal have rejected enquiries for Fabregas this summer. Who was the last player he lost that he actually wanted to keep? Toure? And he still managed to get £18m+ for him, hardly the sign of a club desperate to sell.

Stuff like that isn't allowed, sorry. All top managers do that. I remember Ferguson saying something like he would walk if Ronaldo was sold, when he was finally sold it would have been with the full consent of Fergie. Where did he say that? (Genuine question) I've tried looking for the quote in the past but couldn't find it. I'm 90% sure he said something along those lines though.
-
After Allardyce left we should've just appointed Curbishley and none of this would've happened. Curbishley like the rest of the managerial brethren would've stuck at the job (not Keegan though...oh...and not Benitez and umm...a few others).

He quite publicly stated he wouldn't have taken it with the terms on offer though. Don't blame him tbh, mental situation to work in. YOU CALLING SHEARER MENTAL?
-
I don't think its anything to do with that tbh. Like I said, if Keegan left later I'd be annoyed but all he did was wait to see the outcome of the transfer window and then proved to himself that idiots were running the club's recruitment. Even with all the protests and furore we should've stayed up with 35 more games to go. Again, it goes back to blaming the board for everything. I know Mike Ashley is a w***** and a sad excuse of a businessman, but it doesn't mean he's to blame for EVERYTHING. Keegan, the players and such need to shoulder some of the responsibility as well. I agree it's not just the board, I do blame the players. To say Keegan was a large reason for us going down is just wrong to me.
-
Hole in the wall then hole in the ground it's a natural progression for Butt.

That's a staggering statement. It would have found that Keegan was forced out. How can he still be blamed? Because you should stick at a job even if your bosses are making you out to look like an idiot...apparently. If Keegan left in January (a la Given) I'd be annoyed to giving a club 35 games to sort its self out is more than enough time.

I am not writing him off. Ranger has looked more likely to score in the games he came off the bench for 20+ minutes to be honest. Done a great job playing the lone role but he still has much to learn. Will have less pressure with cameos and will no doubt benefit from it. To be honest we have 3 strikers so assuming 2 up front theres plenty of chances for them. Yeah, I agree. We need to rotate in a league this long. I just don't want to see Harewood always on the team sheet regardless of performance. Having said that he should be given some time to settle in.
-
Just putting out a hypothetical situation: what if Harewood doesn't score in his first 4-5 games? Should Ranger come back in? That's all the chance Ranger got to be fair and it was enough for people to write him off as not being a goal threat. The same way Carroll was dubbed to not be a goal threat either...
-
I don't think he's more of a striker. Attacking midfielder or right winger at Barca anyway, hence why he left, pretty hard to get that RW spot at Barca.

It's not the end of the world if its on 1 or 2. Just flick over to the other when it kicks off if you can't see Nicky Butt.
