  1. As I said last week Howe is a dead man walking.
  2. Howe has never won a thing in football and this is what happens when you take second best. Unai Emery was Our main target but when he declined we just panicked and went for howe. You can all moan as much as you like. But this is my opinion.
  3. Continue supporting a manager who is out of his depth.
  4. Bring in Mourinho Howe has lost the plot.
  5. I am beginning to think Howe has taken us as far as he can, and its time for him to move on.
  6. There is no denial by Newcastle, Staveley, or the man himself for this not to be true. This will Really screw our plans up for the foreseeable future. Another reason to hate Manure.
  7. If he is really going we need to put him on gardening leave for the rest of his contract, As Brighton did with him. Or until Manure pay us 100 mil. Seems to be a two faced cunt with his past quotes. I am very happy at Brighton. I am very happy at Newcastle, Yeah until the money comes calling.
  8. Real mess up with Tonali, wont want that on his cv, full internal club probe still going on inside the club.
  9. Bye Dan don't bang your arse on the way out of the back door.
  10. Think we can write this season off now. Get a few bodies back and finish in the top half. need a lot bigger squad of players. And hopefully less injuries in the future. Be a lot easier next season out of Europe. we can then build the team for the future. Howay the lads.

  12. Great Result Today. Bruno Big joe Gordon Isak Schär Bossed it. Miley and Livramento where absolutely Solid, cant quite believe Miley is still only 17. HWTL.
  13. I think all this talk, about Howe has taken us as far as he can. All stems from the Man city takeover in September 2008. They all said Mark Hughes was on borrowed time but he stayed until 19 December 2009 after only winning 2 games from 11. He was replaced by Roberto Mancini. I don't think Howe is under any pressure, We are just cursed with Injuries at the moment. Buy every club are hit with there fair share of injuries at some time.
  14. Chelsea have worked out what's needed for Jackson to score - play against 9 men every week.
  15. https://www.geordiebootboys.com/match/miguel-almiron-did-something-to-william-saliba-that-no-other-premier-league-player-has-done-this-season/ No Premier League player had been able to dribble past William Saliba Arsenal defender William Saliba has been absolutely exceptional so far this season, and is widely recognised as one of the Premier League’s elite centre-backs. During the first 10 games of the season, not a single Premier League player had managed to dribble past the Frenchman, such is his dominance in the red of Arsenal. However, that record tumbled in game number 11 courtesy of one of Eddie Howe’s men. Miguel Almiron becomes the first as Newcastle beat Arsenal According to Squawka, Miguel Almiron became the first Premier League player this season to dribble past Saliba during Newcastle’s 1-0 win. Almiron had the speed to do what no other player has done this season, and it sums up how well the 29-year-old is playing right now. The Paraguayan is enjoying a rich vein of form, and was outstanding during the win over Arsenal. His work rate down the right was sublime, while he was a constant threat on the break with his speed. Combine that with his goal against Manchester United and it has been a brilliant few days in black and white for Miggy. Hopefully this form can continue against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night, as Almiron and co head to Germany.
  16. Havertz should be charged retrospectively he clearly committed a red card offence ‘off the ball’.
  17. Villa Fans dreaming at breaking into the top 4 before todays game. Then Bang forest go two up life's a bitch
  18. https://www.themag.co.uk/2023/11/match-of-the-day-analysis-on-newcastle-1-arsenal-0-a-must-read-from-this-motd-pundit-newcastle-united/ Match of The Day analysis on Newcastle 1 Arsenal 0 – A must read from this MOTD pundit This is brilliant from Match of The Day on Saturday night. Newcastle 1 Arsenal 0 was not surprisingly the main game to focus on. Match of The Day pundit Danny Murphy giving this superb analysis of how exactly Newcastle United managed to get the win AND become the first team to stop Arsenal scoring this season. Gary Lineker and Danny Murphy talking on Match of The Day about how Newcastle United won against Arsenal – 4 November 2023: Gary Lineker: “A big win for Newcastle, the first time in seventeen games this season in all competitions, that Arsenal have failed to score a goal in, and you [Danny Murphy] have been looking at how Newcastle managed to stop them.” Danny Murphy: “I have, it was incredible. “If you want to stop Arsenal, you have to stop Martinelli and Saka. “The pace, the skill, the creativity. “If you ever want to see a display of defensive discipline, great work ethic, helping your teammate, especially in wide areas, this was it today. “It started early in the game, you could see what they [Newcastle United] were going to do. “You have Trippier and Burn at right-back and left-back, as we know. “They had Almiron and Gordon in wide areas. Almiron was the one confronting Martinelli and Trippier dropping off. That stops the space behind for him to run at you one on one. Very hard to play against one v one, that means he [Martinelli] is crossing from deep and wide. “Watch Gordon’s willingness to run back and try to help Dan Burn. You have also got Bruno helping, Saka can see that and there is no space for him to run into, so he ends up with a nothing ball. Easy to defend. “These are the areas Arsenal look to get into, this time Longstaff helping Trippier, he knows there [Martinelli out wide] is the danger. He [Longstaff] can risk leaving the man behind him because the wide men are the ones who make the goals for Arsenal, they are the ones that are the creative force. Again, peters our, trying to play an eye of the needle pass. “A quick throw in here, what do you want to do, get Saka away, counter-attack. Watch the reaction from Longstaff, Joelinton and Schar. They know who the danger players are. “This is from the manager. “This has been worked on, day in day out, this week. “And whoever came on the pitch [for Newcastle] and played these positions, kept doing the same thing. “The work ethic from Gordon and Almiron to get back, the best you will see from any wide player in the Premier League. “Anywhere, probably in Europe. “Joelinton and Gordon again, can’t leave him [Trippier] isolated, he [Saka] is too good a player. “They [Newcastle] had to make some substitutions but the same discipline applied, same work ethic. “Two new players on the right, Livramento and Ritchie. Communication, the key to any good defending. Ritchie with Martinelli, asking Livramento to cover him. “This is hard work. “This is a team ethos. “This is a manager [Eddie Howe] making sure his players are doing their job. “And if they don’t, they don’t play for Eddie Howe, they don’t play for Newcastle. “They are arguably one of the most hard working teams in the Premier League. This [Joelinton block tackle just before final whistle] epitomises the attitude, the application and the desire of this Newcastle side. “It was really really good. “It was a superb defensive display, which was the bedrock to the win.”
  19. And the winner for the most entitled manager of the year award. Arteta for his post match performance after Newcastle beat them fair and square. But a good rant shouldn't get in the way of a perfectly good goal. Nice one Arteta maybe bring a good supply of Kleenex tissues the next time you come to the Toon.
  20. Mikel Arteta crying after Newcastle 1 Arsenal 0 – Just drink those tears.

    Nick Pope

Popes been a brilliant signing at 10 mill yes he has his faults but all keepers do. And just take the double save the other night thats what he can do. I think a lot on here think we can buy ourselves the title in one transfer window sorry but we cant. And Howe is slowly putting a very very good team together. Its not long ago I was reading the posts on here Anthony Gordon being a waste of money. Look at him now. We are still a long way off being a top 4 team. Even though we achieved that last season. We cant guarantee that every season just yet. Lets just keep the faith and watch the team grow under Howe year on year. We have hope again after the dark days. HWTL
