Tonali was never going to hit the ground running. due to language problems.coming in to a new country etc, we need to give the lad time to settle in. I dont think we will see the best of him until maybe the back end of this season. Or even next season. we need to be patient with the lad. He is clearly a class act, but needs time and patience.

Typical this, A hard start in the premier league. Man city In the Carabo cup. And now the group of death in the champions league. Someone doesn't like us do they. -
Howe gave Liverpool the game when he took Gordon off. He was tearing holes in them until then. Klopp must have been pissing himself laughing at that stupid decision.

Wrong call by Howe today.

Seem to be happy with a point today, how the mighty have fallen.

Lewis Hall to miss rest of season with foot injury (Official)

This deal is Boiling the piss of Chelsea fans., Chelsea fans are not happy that Lewis Hall is leaving Following news that Newcastle have agreed a £28million fee to sign Hall from Chelsea, plenty of Blues fans have taken to social media to express their discontent. One fan tweeted: “I really do think we’ll regret selling Lewis Hall. He’ll smash it for Newcastle under Eddie Howe.” Another posted: “My biggest gripe about selling Lewis Hall is the message it is now sending. In a turmoil season and poor team, Hall was actually one of the better players for Chelsea in the handful of games he played last season. His reward? Being sold a week after being offered a new long-term contract, instead of being shown a pathway and convinced of his future at the club.” “I’m gutted about Lewis Hall. I do believe we could have handled this differently, whether he wants to go or not,” a third fan wrote. “Michael Olise off, Reece James injured, Lewis Hall being sold.. what a terrible day,” another Chelsea supporter added. “Selling Lewis Hall would be a KDB/Salah level of a mistake. We cannot let this happen,” Finally, a fifth Blues supporter added: “I’m not ready to watch Hall and Livramento rip it up at Newcastle.” -

It must be a hard TO sell the dream to the young academy players. When they know the chance of first team football is very slim. Apparently they pay the top youngsters well. And maybe that's the reason they sign for Chelsea But surely they are holding them back if they are not getting any game time. -
Premier League's fastest five players from the opening weekend REVEALED Anthony Gordon comes out on top Anthony Gordon clocked in as the paciest player with a top speed of 22.14 miles per hour Burnley centre-back Ameen Al-Dakhil managed to finish second Wolves' Pedro Neto came third Anthony Elanga registered the fourth-highest top speed on his debut for Nottingham Forest. Kyle Walker was the fifth-fastest player Gordon was some way ahead of his nearest competitor but still over 5mph behind the top speed ever recorded by Usain Bolt of close to 28mph.

No one won more fouls (6) and no one won more duels (10) on Saturday, where Gordon’s work on and off the ball played a key role in our 5-1 win over Unai Emery’s Villa. After a positive summer with England and impressive pre-season, it’s great to see our £40m man look full of confidence, energy and quality heading into this weekend’s trip to the Etihad.

He has also lost Kevin De Bruyne after another hamstring injury, And Kyle Walker is now a doubt after Zaroury (yellow card upgraded to red after VAR intervention. HWTL -

Just looked in on the fighting cocks forum after spurs draw with Brentford. Talk about being over-optimistic. Quote. I think we've got a better squad than Villa and a very similar level one to Newcastle. We could easily be just outside those top 4 spots and that's a good place to be in and build on.
