Aye, Brent would be so lucky.

Re your last sentence - yeah, it's far harder to just sit on your hands and lap the failure up in silence like you do.

West Brom 0-2 Newcastle United 9/11/14 FT post-match reaction from page 30

That's class. My mate (sush off here) was trying to get that started loads at Spurs but it never took off. He was at West Brom as well, maybe he just kept on trying. -
His face.

Not even going to read it because the sub-headline is "Both sides are financially healthy but the fans feel increasingly disconnected due to the respective boards and their actions" and it's going to fucking wind me up.

Glad I didn't start a thread.

Not watching but when he celebrated his 2nd? Thought that was pure shan when I saw it last night, he just ran off as well.

Actually that's slightly harsh on you I suppose Ian, as you do seem to realise he's a crap manager now. This qualifying every statement with "We're not going to get any better under Ashley" thing is very tiresome though, I can't agree that keeping things tight and trying to nick a goal is the only way and I should just accept it.

If it was guaranteed he would lose his job if we lost against QPR yes I'd take it but he won't hence why I want us to win that game as I did today. I've come to terms with the fact that he's not going anywhere any time soon so I'll get behind the players and hope we continue this run of form for a while longer. Fair enough, I don't want us to lose at the minute either. Seems a bit rich for you to slag off other people for not thinking the same when you held the contrary view not long ago at all though. Seem to recall a similar about-turn re going to the match versus not going to the match.

Not like Wallsendmag to change his mind every 5 minutes.

There were a couple of rounds of it at Spurs the other week and although it's not my favourite chant in the world I thought it was fair enough as they're usually full of it and hadn't made a peep all game. Against teams like West Brom it's pathetic. -

Was just thinking that, it's only excusable against the top sides IMO. -
They're 8/1 to go unbeaten on Paddy Power like, in case anyone fancies it.

you could base it on the general incompetence of the rest of the league Not really, sorry - that doesn't answer my question at all. An English team has only gone unbeaten once in a 20+ team size league in over a hundred years, why did we start talking about this in October? It's insufferable already and there might be 6 months of it left yet. They've been away to Man City, Man Utd, Everton and Liverpool. Given Mourinho has lost something like 1 home game, we're relying on Arsenal at the Emirates and not an awful lot else I'll be really surprised if they go unbeaten all season, it's almost impossible to not take your eye off the ball at least once or twice over the course of a season. Definitely, just saying looking at it logically you can see why it has been raised. I know what you mean but I don't think it's logical at all to start talking about it until at least 25 games in, history shows that most teams that win the league lose about 6 games on average and at least a handful. That Arsenal side were literally a one-off (as things stand). The reason I say it is because I'm already sick of hearing it.
