If you're talking about me you might have missed the point. I was saying that I don't believe he means it literally. Having only read it and not heard/seen it of course. Mannnnn.

What now? "It's not a major offence". Again, I assume nothing a manager says in the media can be classed as such then. Not at all, some stuff could. I don't know why any argument with shades of grey is ridiculous. I understand that everything isn't black and white thanks. I'm saying they're about the worst things a manager could say and a few seem to agree, I've asked what it would take for you to be annoyed at an NUFC manager's comments and didn't get a meaningful response. Hence why I'm asking what would constitute a major offence.

You're right, the forum should just be a stream of everyone reiterating the same opinion. The only thing I get tired of is being painted as something I'm not, and credited with opinions I don't have. And also the way people choose not to see parts of an argument that they can't respond to. I don't think you generally give much of an opinion, it's a lot of "he probably didn't mean it like that" and "leave him alone, you're overreacting".

I haven't missed anyone's point thanks, I'm saying there's a line you can't cross with your comments as a manager and he's crossed it.

I'd love to know what Pardew would have to come out with in the press for some people on here to be annoyed with his comments. You're meant to be supporters of this club, how can it not irritate you when you've got the manager saying he doesn't care if we get smashed 4-0 at home after overseeing 2 of the most embarrassing home defeats in recent memory and that he's delighted we haven't qualified for a competition which gives the supporters some pride when we do. Honestly, what would he have to say or does he have carte blanche to say whatever the fuck he likes?

Fucking hell. I'm pretty sure he didn't mean that literally like. Jesus Christ. You actually believe a manager doesn't care if he gets hammered? He said it, man. Why the fuck did he say it then? As I've said about three times, because he's incredibly relieved we've stayed up. And he has a tendency to be too casual in interviews. It still doesn't make any sense. It's indefensible for a Newcastle manager to say that, and you're defending it. Again. Sigh. Fair play, as I said it's pointless me trying to have any debate, I should have known better. Aye, good debate bro. Jesus Christ, man. What you're saying makes no sense, piss off playing your victim card again. The guy's a poison and you're still in here defending him. Read it again - "I don’t really care if Arsenal win 4-0 if I’m honest". And again - "I don’t really care if Arsenal win 4-0 if I’m honest". Go on then, again - "I don’t really care if Arsenal win 4-0 if I’m honest". What the fuck are you even debating man FFS?

f***ing hell. I'm pretty sure he didn't mean that literally like. Go on then, how else would he mean it? Baffled. Can't believe anyone would think he does mean it literally. He's expressing his relief at staying up FFS. I mean, he talks a lot of s**** but the reaction to some stuff from people is insane. Your constant defence of the bloke is pretty insane to be fair. It must get tiresome, even for you? I'm not defending his performance, I'm saying that it's stupid and childish to rip apart quotes that aren't remotely as bad as people choose to believe. They're some of the worst quotes from him yet, you're absolutely off your rocker.

How on Earth is it acceptable for a manager to say that? It's becoming more and more like he's just taking the piss.

What good things this season? It's been f***ing appalling. He was on about finishing tenth you div. What?

She hates football full-stop, it's been more interesting what's happened on Faceys with people absolutely going to town on me a few months ago for being fed up with the manager and the last few weeks being more vociferous in their criticism than I am.

  16. I think that's a big problem, people with thin skin scarred by the criticism of a media that demonstrates that they know fuck-all with almost everything they come out with.

They already look daft and they'll only end up looking dafter if they don't sort it out.

He doesn't shell anything out. He's invested more than he'll feel he's needed to to narrowly avoid relegation. That money could have been paying off his loan.
  19. I said a while back that if we kept him next year we'd have a really mediocre season, in other words waste time but not have the worry of relegation again. I take that back, I think we're in massive trouble if we keep him after what we've seen in recent weeks. Didn't actually realise he was quite this inept. Still think the nutcases running the show will think they're doing a lot right off the pitch while being let down on it though. If he stays then I'll be quite perplexed, it's clear as day that we'd enter the new season under a cloud of hopelessness and negativity if we didn't make the change.

  21. People are just searching and searching for the negatives, must take them hours and ridiculous pessimism in abundance to identify all the negatives.

Yeah, maybe he is just caught up in the emotion of it all but he sounded pretty confident he would be here next year. It's part of the act man, he hasn't got a clue what will happen but I think he's gone. We can't carry on like this or we'll get relegated.
