Good post. Ironically enough given the opinions on here I think one of the things they'd have to contend with if they binned him is fan discontent. Not that I think they give a shit.
-
There's as many value for money arguments to keep him as there are to sack him. No there aren't, this is another misconception that often gets thrown around. The price of sacking one manager and hiring another is pennies compared to the price of failure.
-
I'm not sure why people are so sure he'll be here next year, most of the points for it can be put down to PR from Ashley and Llambias and discounted by them being ruthless business people with an obsession with value for money. I think he might well get sacked.

Your argument is like a leaky bucket as well, the coincidences continue. -
West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Interpolic replied to Pilko's topic in Football
There'll potentially be rumours of this before every single transfer window until the day Carroll retires, therefore I'm not sure what to make of it. -
Amazing timing to be sending these out.

 Hadn't even seen that, what a mug.

West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United - 20/04/13 @ 3pm (No TV)
Interpolic replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
I'm not so sure, if I wasn't an NUFC fan I'd put £5-10 on us going down because 20/1 is just unbelievable value. We don't win away games of which we have 3 (you lot, West Ham, QPR) and our 2 home games are very tough (Liverpool, Arsenal). I'm really concerned but I'm not going to let it take over my mind like I did last time. If it happens, it happens. I'm not getting much joy out of watching us anymore anyway, can't see the football getting much worse whatever occurs. 20/1 isn't to far off really, no team in our position now has ever been relegated from the Premier League. It's not usually this tight, at all. If Wigan win one of their games in hand there will be 2 points between 13th and 18th, must be almost unprecedented. -

Saw a mag punching a horse... -
I know. Well I didn't know, but I'm not surprised.

Away Toon managing to have a bigger shocker than Pardew today, respect.
-
Exactly. It's now looking extremely difficult. It's not helped by how tight it is down there, you've got 5 teams on 34-36 points and 1 team in Wigan who you'd expect to get to that level of points in their 2 spare games given their recent form and general tendency for picking up points towards the end of the year. I think this might be the first year in a while you'll need more than 40 to stay up. I've had my worries a long while but thought we'd scrape safety, today is when I'm genuinely concerned we've fucked it and might well go down.

And they deserved the win as well. -
Disagree hugely with the bits in bold.
-
I want to kick this man in his testicles. I find that surprising, because he's implying he'll have no excuses if we don't pick up points.
-
The way you're carrying on towards people who just want the best for NUFC is pathetic.

He said to Mick Lowes that some of our players were knackered after Thursday and Lowes said we had 5 players in the team who hadn't played, Pardew said the 5 weren't up to speed. Fucking hell. That's so typical, I've never heard so many excuses from a manager ever.

Erm, didn't we lose one under Bobby Robson?
