Why don't you use your real name on here, Derek. He's not Derek Llambias, I know him in real life. These arguments have relocated from my Facebook page to N-O.
  2. How many games has he played in the middle of a front 3 after it worked so well last season? 1 half I make it.
  3. Agree entirely, which makes it all the more baffling that we pandered to his demands to play centrally. That was only ever done to put himself in the shop window so he could engineer a move under his release clause. If we'd have stuck him wide and played Cisse through the middle then not only would the team have looked better but Chelsea would probably never have wanted Ba either. We shot ourselves in BOTH feet with that one. For the final time, he played centrally because he scored goals. Started the season 4-4-2 he scored some goals but results where poorish. Went to Everton, he got dropped, came off the bench and scored twice. He earned the role and never looked back. We shouldn't have been playing 442 in the first place, and we played it for a long time. The God-awful football we played in that formation seemed to suit Ba more than Cisse, who knows? The point is we shouldn't have abandoned a system that was working well for us.
  4. Yep, done us loads of good, pre-move and post-move for Ba. That's why we're 2 points off relegation, we've lost Ba and we have to hope Cisse can get back to some good goalscoring form off the back of a disjointed half season where he's either had the ball hoofed over him or been stuck out on the wing. I feel quite strongly that we shouldn't have pandered to it and it's played a big part in our predicament up to now and could also affect us badly going forward.

It wouldn't surprise me if they're holding off on bidding for a forward so that fans don't then start pushing for a centre half. Not that they'd listen or anything, it just seems to be all about appearances and spin at times. A forward in the last week of the window and people will be 'happy'.

People on here have heard David Sullivan talk before, yeah? He's a fucking gobshite, man.

Sounds like nobody's got a fucking clue to me like.
  9. And then he smugly points to his hand in celebration.
  10. Just seen Suarez's goal and celebration, what an absolute prick.
  11. Fair do's to Ferguson for those comments IMO, I knew it was a clear he was wound up when he said that because he's generally been respectful to us down the years. Can't disagree with any of his comments there, it's a joke how long we've gone without silverware.
  12. I feel the same way about N-O posters at the minute tbh.
  13. I've no faith in us to win games away from home anymore, see aways as draws at best at the moment. Would therefore be OK with a draw.

Just as an aside - do people think Ashley and Llambias are on board with Pardew's successful mission to throw the game today, or was Pardew trying to hide it?

Aye, I've heard about that Wikipedia website. I don't think he's any more qualified than a number of other candidates you could mention, he'd be a big risk.
  16. I just think it was a really weird away following, not all on the same page at all. I was less annoyed by the hundreds of people who didn't seem to sing once than I was the self-appointed superfans who quickly resorted to homophobic chants once they got annoyed at the game, and I even heard a "We've got an end full of cockneys" at one point. As I say, it was a depressing experience all round.
  17. I went to Norwich last year, it was a fun away trip apart from the football. Have a good one, chaps.

Why's it time for that mad cunt like?
  19. I wish I'd never gone, personally. Just found the whole experience completely depressing.
  20. Times have changed, which is the point Nut is making. We've went out to 'inferior' teams every year for the past few years, which is the point Wullie is making. No reason we couldn't have went a lot further in recent years.
  21. He is, he's been gloating like fuck since he signed for them. He could have been a lot more reserved given the predicament we're in, and it particularly sticks in the throat since it's been all centred around him this season just to keep him happy. "That's not his fault" - I agree, it's ours, however I think the quotes of him and his arsehole mates since he left have been the worst I can remember coming from a departing player in quite a while.
