Good one that sonna, going straight in my Bants Bank.

They're entitled to play football but there's no need for countries of their ilk to qualify automatically for the groups. It's not like they're going to improve enough for any of their games in the groups not to be pointless.
-
There are 30,000 people in the whole country ffs, it's a waste of time.
-
Fucking ridiculous that they let countries with 30k inhabitants have football teams in international tournament qualifying. Defies logic.
-
Not sure what people are laughing at, Pardew's making us look fucking stupid with comments like that.

"Don't be one of those names". Erm they can't really help being one of those names if you've already made your mind up and written it you daft twat. Just doesn't work on any level.

was it? thought it was put up just after the first attempt (sportsdirect.com@St James Park etc) Don't think so, the lettering on the front of the Gallowgate has been there for absolutely ages, pretty sure it went up not that long after Ashley bought us.
-
Not that fucking easy.
-
The first set of Sports Direct lettering was up on the roof a long time before the stadium-renaming farce, just in case anyone's forgotten.

Or their existence helps give the banks and Government license to ignore the problems many people have. Their interest rates are obscene, it's not like they're just charging a bit more.

It depends how much any individual disagrees with the sponsor's business. The quote "Newcastle United will be sponsored by the money of deprived people up and down the country" sums it up quite frankly, it's true. It wouldn't tip me over the edge but I appreciate why it might really piss someone off. Why? Apart from pissing off the fans we are still always on the tv, in the papers etc and finished the season as the 5th best team in the country. What would put potential sponsors off? I think you're missing the point, the point is that we're now associated with shitty brands and our stadium looks a fucking tip. Harsh views from a couple of people who have never been in the situation where they'd need to use such a service. A lot of their customers will feel like they've had no choice but to borrow money in this way to sort out a few bills before they get in trouble.
-
You say that about everything, it's boring. I can see why people would have legitimate concerns about this.

Hmm, it's a real shame when this happens to young players. Reminds me of the story of Paul Lake. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2020326/Paul-Lake-brilliant-footballer-suffered-injury-depression.html

Yeah, midds is spot on.

Clicking on 'NEW' has brought me strange results a few times tonight. It'll go to the latest unread post, then one from August, then the latest one again.

All my current gripes are fair I think: - Concerned at so many players underperforming. - Still annoyed about the shitty transfer window. The club has blown an amazing opportunity. - Let down by the listless performances. I think the 2 in bold are heavily related. A few good signings and the club is galvanised, there's competition for places, etc. I'm not particularly surprised that the season's been flat after we fannied about for 3 months and the usual "We're lucky we didn't lose anyone" shite got trotted out again. It's very disappointing and you can only hope that we'll sort it sharpish in January and that it's not too late by then.

My guess is that he probably thought that it would be swept under the carpet if it wasn't mentioned. Yep me too, although he's probably also trying to defelct attention away from the result. -
That's an excellent one, some daft cunt like John Moston will have said it once and everyone will have latched on to it thinking it was charming or whatever. It's fucking shit.
-
maybe - but no worse than Carrick following him round twe pitch shouting in his face near the end, but of course hes not booked. you can try and be as fair minded as you want about it, but people I was with, people on here, people on face book cant all be wrong surely? Are they all Newcastle fans? I know lots of Man U fans whinging about how Tiote and Jonas could have been sent off, it's a two way street. Tbf Tiote could certainly have gone for that foul in the first half.

The moment our first choice XI isn't fully available, we look vulnerable. Today for example, our back keeper was awful and our back up centre backs poor. Just got to hope that Krul, Taylor and Colo are all back for the mackems. most sides will look vulnerable without their first choice cbs and gk tbh I'm 100% not having this argument when it comes to Steven Taylor, who can basically be presumed a total permacrock until he proves otherwise. The warning signs have been there with Taylor's fitness for a long time and we've chosen to ignore them. -
I can probably understand your posts without the capital letters, not sure about anyone else?

This. It was the small calls today, those daft little 50-50s that significantly affect the momentum of one side over the other. He gave Man Utd every single one of them.
