As long as the players take pride in their aimless performance and give off the impression they're taking part in a football match then that's the full set of basics covered and you can't ask much else tbh.
It's honestly the easiest job in world football now. In a thoroughly bleak season it has taken a dismal defeat against a side with 2 points in 17 games for the manager to experience any serious criticism. The remit is to exist with no fuss, if you do that then you're in no danger of losing your job. It's a piece of piss.
I've had De Bruyne all season but sacked him off recently. I think I'm OK with that given how Man City aren't very free scoring this season, and have Cancelo (quite a few clean sheets lately) and Foden (much cheaper than KDB) to try to take advantage of their fixtures.
This will age well when De Bruyne scores 2 hatricks.
