Would like to hear Pardew's thoughts on what has been a glaring weakness in our team for some time. It became an issue a few games back but it's taking the piss now, having more talented players sat on the bench for no reason at all. Needs to be looked at seriously but I've no faith it will be.

The timing sticks in the throat for me as well, it's becoming a bit annoying how these messages are clearly carefully timed and delivered. The Maiga deal fell through weeks ago and they'll have most likely known that meant we'd not be signing a striker for at least six months as a result.
