Good, he's done well the last couple of games and there's no need to change it. -

Just Liverpool playing themselves isn't it? Honestly Ali, could you believe it? They discussed Liverpool at length despite there being very little of note to talk about and then Stelling goes "Sorry Newcastle fans, we don't have enough time to talk about your side today. It's a compliment really as you're doing fine". Fuck off. I pay my Sky subscription n'all you knobheads. Tbh I wouldn't have minded if there had been big events at Anfield this week, but they were just saying that Joe Cole hadn't been getting in the team that much. -

Wow, did anyone see the Liverpool vs Newcastle preview on SSN just then? -
Led you on by the sounds of things.

Don't see the point in getting him in tbh. It's not a Louis Saha type of situation where he didn't score many for us but showed flashes of potential and didn't have (m)any injury problems, and therefore we lived to regret not making a bigger effort to sign him. This guy's out of fitness, out of form, out of his mind. Even if he finds some form elsewhere I wouldn't regret not signing him, as the signs aren't good and it's too big a risk. If he'd played 3/4 of the games and bagged a few goals and looked good then I'd probably be all for signing him at the right price, but whether it's his fault or not he's blown it.

Was that pink lipstick he was wearing in the Man U post-match interview or what?
-
Don't see why Given to Arsenal is such a mad suggestion mind. Not that it means a lot but the jokers on Soccer Saturday were talking like Given to Arsenal or Spurs this summer was a foregone conclusion the other week.
-
Carroll is a pointless suggestion as I've heard that he loves Liverpool, pinches himself that he's wearing the number 9 for Liverpool, will never leave Liverpool in a million years, etc. Eto'o on the other hand would do an ace job for them.
-
I never saw some of them posts above. Very strange that we're all thinking of similar names.
-
Given, Cahill, ***** (plays for us atm, in centre midfield, hope to God it never happens) and Eto'o in that squad and they're laughing.
-
It's more an unwillingness than an inability imo, which is all the more mental.
-
It's the FA to blame tbh as in other leagues i.e. German you see ref's with far more relaxed with regards to the letter of the law. Oh I'm not blaming him really, just doing his job as told to etc. It'd just be nice if someone stood up to it and pointed out how utterly ridiculous it is in most circumstances. You know why they do it though, yeah? You don't fuck about with the sponsors.
-
Imo yeah because they're not good enough to get away with it at the minute. Get 3-4 proper footballers in who can do everything including the ugly stuff then they can play whatever football they like and they'll win the league.
-
Looking forward to hearing Merson's balanced outlook in 5.
-
Need to get a proper manager like Allardyce in.
-
Agree with wor neesy. He's just not learning from what happens every single season.
-
Wenger's lost his mind now, there's no going back.

Couple of things: Everton can't afford his wages unless he wants to live like a peasant to his standards. I think Everton could do much better. Fans reaction from both sides in Liverpool would be interesting. I didn't think he was on big money these days. Plus he's an Everton fan. I honestly don't know where he goes from here though. He's made it clear that he wants to sit on the bench somewhere 'big'. He's still on around 60k according to reports which is out of Everton's budget imo. I seem to remember him having a bonus as you play type thing attached to a fairly low salary, compared to his Newcastle salary obviously. Well it's lucky he's playing these 25 minutes every week, probably raking it in.

Will be funny as fuck when Man U release him this summer. Wonder if he'll end up at Chelsea or Arsenal, hard to say tbh.
