I never saw some of them posts above. Very strange that we're all thinking of similar names.

Given, Cahill, ***** (plays for us atm, in centre midfield, hope to God it never happens) and Eto'o in that squad and they're laughing.
-
It's more an unwillingness than an inability imo, which is all the more mental.
-
It's the FA to blame tbh as in other leagues i.e. German you see ref's with far more relaxed with regards to the letter of the law. Oh I'm not blaming him really, just doing his job as told to etc. It'd just be nice if someone stood up to it and pointed out how utterly ridiculous it is in most circumstances. You know why they do it though, yeah? You don't fuck about with the sponsors.
-
Imo yeah because they're not good enough to get away with it at the minute. Get 3-4 proper footballers in who can do everything including the ugly stuff then they can play whatever football they like and they'll win the league.

Looking forward to hearing Merson's balanced outlook in 5.
-
Need to get a proper manager like Allardyce in.

Agree with wor neesy. He's just not learning from what happens every single season.

Wenger's lost his mind now, there's no going back.

Couple of things: Everton can't afford his wages unless he wants to live like a peasant to his standards. I think Everton could do much better. Fans reaction from both sides in Liverpool would be interesting. I didn't think he was on big money these days. Plus he's an Everton fan. I honestly don't know where he goes from here though. He's made it clear that he wants to sit on the bench somewhere 'big'. He's still on around 60k according to reports which is out of Everton's budget imo. I seem to remember him having a bonus as you play type thing attached to a fairly low salary, compared to his Newcastle salary obviously. Well it's lucky he's playing these 25 minutes every week, probably raking it in.

Will be funny as fuck when Man U release him this summer. Wonder if he'll end up at Chelsea or Arsenal, hard to say tbh.

The best part of this quote is that he doesn't realize why one team is good, and the other one struggled. Oh, it's nowt to do with him if that's what you're suggesting, Mike. It annoyed me when he signed that the papers were all full of shock and horror that little Micky had had to 'settle' for Newcastle despite us qualifying for the Champions League just a couple of years prior. He obviously bought into that idea as well.

 Jesus would be well fucked off.

Yep. Next week Graham Fenton's on.

No I didn't, I was commenting because somebody said "Went to applaud the Celtic fans, and on the way back cupped his hands to ears when the Ranger fans booed." I don't see anything too wrong with that considering what he's been through. You'd think he'd try to help matters by keeping a low profile for a bit.

Agreed, he deserves to have more bombs sent to him for that. Did you see him mate? He was working his ticket and there was absolutely no need for it.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

Would stay at the club I'd supported since I was a kid. Had this discussion with my grandad yesterday and he disagrees. He won't blame anyone for going where the money is, looking after their family in that respect, etc. When I said "is 30 grand a week not enough to get by on like?" he said "Well you don't know how long you're going to be earning that, anything could happen". That's a good point tbh, but it doesn't change how I feel about it mind. £30k a week over the 5 year contract he just signed will be a lot more than most of us will earn in our lifetime. You calling my grandad a gobshite? -

The bloke is an idiot, all week people have been trying to calm down everyone in Scotland over this game and goes and incites Rangers fans like that,I've got no sympathy for the bloke. Agree. Did anyone hear Le Tissier co-commentating that Chelsea match the other day? Absolutely hilariously funny, he's terrible. "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Ohhhhh. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh".
