More overjoyed that Ashley is leaving than having the Saudis come in to be honest. Never cared who came in as long as they made us a “normal” club again. We carry a lot of baggage after the past fourteen years so we are just relieved that we are shot of Ashley and we will see ambition and hope again..
Reminds me of Hayden last season.
From all accounts, he's a clever player but he comes with a wise head to boot.
I'll admit I was impressed with what he had to say when he was interviewed by the club. He's too intelligent to botch this opportunity.
Unfortunately, not a chance.
Shelvey has too much of a reputation as a maverick. Gayle will never be perceived as a player good enough for England. Unless we over-perform big time, none of our players will make it.
As far as I know, there's real no 'cant'.
Really depends on the parent club to put a clause into the loan contract, which happens 100% of the time anyway.
Really hyped for tomorrow's match.
I'm sitting in a hotel in London ready to take a flight up to Newcastle tomorrow morning for the game.
I've only caught our friendly in Wellington a couple of seasons ago, but naturally it didn't take the cake.
Will be a dream come true tomorrow!
Hmmm...where have I heard that before?
Never thought Ben Arfa placed such an emphasis on trickery compared to what I saw Cabella do today. Ben Arfa's play always had a purpose but Cabella just seemed to show off the entire game, as if he had some point to prove.
Seems to underrate the competitiveness of games in England compared to France.
