  1. Brighton have three? Welbeck, Ferguson, Pedro? A few others do as well, though obviously some count attacking mids as forwards maybe. Not saying if you have three then they'll all be brilliant or up to the task in the same way, but a young lad to give a go would at least be an option in the situation we find ourselves. Younger player would be hungry to impress but could be managed in a way that helps them learn from more senior players. I'd argue keeping them happy would be much easier if we were in multiple competitions still as well... which we aren't because we've lacked fit, consistent strikers... weird.
  2. Is it just me who finds it mental that we, as a side who've been in the CL this season (albeit first in an age), only have two strikers? One of which the club already knew was injury-prone? Maybe it's been like this for a long time, but my brain just expects there to at least be a young lad/unknown/clogger to give a chance?
  3. What's the sizing like on these stadium 1/4 zip training tops like lads? Been hankering for one but with up to 5XL I've no context for what they equate to. Edit: never mind, looked at my other castore shirt from last year.
  4. Anyone got a successful email for Arsenal yet? Unsure when people start to hear as I haven't been lucky enough yet
  5. I'm very much in this boat. Can't be waiting until the week of a game to know whether to book a train and potentially a hotel as the prices get prohibitive on top of the tickets.
  6. Three ballots, zero tickets. Sod's law that I'll finally get one for a game I then can't make.
  7. Did anyone figure out where the different categories put you (roughly)?
  8. Also got this. Have logged in but it won't let me into the ballot. The "Sign In" button after I get through the queue is greyed out.
  9. Yeah, have just had the confirmation email now. I'm just an impatient git who expects all major sites to have been designed/built well
  10. Hopefully something like that is in the works with a proper dev company!
  11. Two letters for them: U and X. I still can't tell if I have the membership or not. No email or even anything coming up in my bank account to say a payment is pending. Site needs a full redesign and a thorough plan to make it simply to navigate and understand.
  12. I had this, it turned out it was my mobile number and country that were missing and that sorted it.
  13. Got there eventually! Though it only looks partially confirmed... not sure what I was expecting, do you get a confirmation email once it's official?
  14. I've been waiting over an hour. 11 minutes to go. If it kicks me back I'm going to be foaming.
  15. If there's an unlimited amount, why are we in a queue? I'm 30-odd thousand deep.
  16. It's probably the logo that's making it seem dull to me. Those pics look like it's been shopped onto it - hopefully it looks more integrated in the flesh.
  17. Feels like a pretty boring design (not too disimilar from last season) but given some of the cack we've had in recent years I guess I'd take it!
  18. Those are absolutely spectacular. I would buy all three.
  19. It's a crap place anyway. Granted, only been in once but it's small and there were kids running about all owa the shop.
  20. My dad has always supported Leeds, despite us not being from there (glory hunting in the 70s!), so I never knew you ought to support where you're from. As a wee lad I enjoyed the football of Beardsley at Newcastle and Shearer at Blackburn, so when Shearer made the move that basically cemented it. As a result, I still have a soft spot for Blackburn and their kit - had collectible cards and those little big-headed statue things of some Blackburn players like Tim Flowers and Colin Hendry. Seems weird to me now but when you're that age, between 5 and 8 maybe, you're very impressionable in regards to the top players. Kinda like kids now who support Barca for the time they had Messi or Kane for Spurs. It's annoying but I can't really say much
  21. Aye, same. I think the nerves comes from a lack of goals in the last few games. Defence has been top class but with Wilson off the pace and everyone else unable to hit a barn door, this is a real test of whether we can keep going.
  22. He fecking oozes composure and quality with all his comments - I feel like I'm dreaming when you compare it to some of the dossers we've had in the last two decades.
  23. This is good for them as long as their new signings have relegation clauses... they were lucky to go up IMO and should see it as a step to building back into a solid top team by retaining quality while accepting this new group may not immediately gel.
  24. Yeah, Bruno is always looking to set him free, whether it's a first time ball to catch people out or something long to chase - makes a massive difference for Miggy as Bruno can actually pull it off.
