  1. Well if the lowest placed side always played at home (apart from the final which would be at a neutral venue) then it would also take away the need for a 2nd leg.

  3. I didn't know where to put this so I thought here would be the best place. The Champions League playoff's that have been mentioned to happen will have a situation where the 4th placed team will enter the final without playing games, with the 7th placed team will play away to the 6th placed team and the winner of that games will play away to the 5th placed team, and the winner of that will enter the final against the 4th placed team. Now that to me is better then the current format in the CCC, League 1 and 2. It seems more fair to the team who fiished higher in the league and gives a real advantage to each team who finishes higher in the playoff spots while also giving the other teams a chance of winning the playoff's. So why can't that system be used in the promotion playoff's?
  4. 5-1, good build up play by Everton, and a good assist by Donovan.
  5. I don't know, I guess we need to get the message across.
  6. Theirs nothing wrong with having a league test it out, like Argentina tested the spray line out, and the Uropa League has 55 officials. But honestly this has been tested in lab rooms and "unofficial games" already which all came back with a 100% success rate, it's just FIFA have no idea what common sense is. AS some one has said, they like the controvery, because having it makes the game more exciting in their view and exciting brings in the money, and thats all FIFA care about. Yeah, but what I'm asking is if a league would need fifa's permission to implement it or could they do it even if fifa was opposed, considering that they have to be sanctioned by fifa to be legit. Yeah it would have to be santioned by FIFA, unless it isn't under FIFA authority in which case it's looked as not being football.

  8. Is it just me who's hopeing that Reading win here, Stoke beat Chelsea, and Fulham beat Spurs in the replay?
  9. Every year every clubs fights for survivle, Europe, the Champions League and the title, no club is given a god given right to any of these (though refereeing decision for the top 4 says otherwise). We didn't surivive, it happend, it happend to other clubs for example Leeds and it will happen to other clubs who should in theory be competeting at the top of the league.
  10. They guy has made mistakes, he's accepted that, unfortuantly for us it cost us dearly. The guy though has put money into the club to keep it running, has now got a system in place for building the teams, and the club so that it can start to make a profit, we are top of the league, he has backed the manager (maybe he's not the right manager if we go up), what more do you want him to do?, what more can the guy do? It's not like he can go to the FA or the Premier League ans say "I f***ed up, keeps us in the Premiership please?" is it?, The only thing he can do to change the mistakes he made and start to build the club is whats he's been doing all season (or atleast announced a full time manager). And what do you think is going to happen to this profit? Look, I can't give evidence that the guy isn't a t***, and you can't give me evidence he is. Don't tell me he's bought the club for millions, f***ed, ad kept it afloat when he could easily of put it into admin. I'm jusat saying that the signs are encouraging this season in both his off the field plans and whats happening on the field. Whats wrong with not shouting to the guy to f*** off?, ans whats wrong with thinking he's changed or atleast noticing positive changes? Forgive me for not shouting bad things to the guy who looks (in my opinion) to be changing the club for the better and could easily send the club into a worse position of Portsmouth. Lay off the guys back and start forcusing on the team, it's like your looking for him to slip up. I’m just asking you what you think will happen to these profits they will be kept within the club to make it look more attractive to potential buyers and also invest in the future of the club. It would look abit iffy if the books showed the club making a profit and that profit being taken out of the club altogether. But it doesn't matter, having a club making a profit is better then having a club making a loss any day of the week.

  12. How can MOTD make a programme showing the highlights of only 3 games last as long as a programme showing the highlights of 7-8 games? Surely they should of given the FLS (Football League Show) more time, so that more actual highlights of atleast the CCC games can be shown instead of highlights of one game highlights and the goals for everyone else.
  13. No he's not off the hook, but apart from making yourself look ignorant about footballing finances what else does chanting abuse at Ashley do? He isn't going to decide one day in the middle of the season that he is going to up sticks and leave because a bunch of lads in tracky bottoms bought from his Sports Direct shop are calling him nasty names is he? I don't think anyone needs to be told to get behind the team (well apart from the tartan blanket brigade in the East Stand but unless they have their hearing aids switched on they wouldn't hear me anyway), but it's a waste of carbon dioxide and saliva shouting s**** at Ashley. hey blef....was farty man farting today ? Aye he was. I took is photo and am going to set up a facebook group outing the dirty fecker. What happens if he has one of those medical conditions that gives him a stomach or whatever problem that makes him fart all the time? His giggling after he gasses 2,000 unlucky sods behind him between 5 and 20 times each game suggests it more malice than medical. You should have tried standing behind him just after christmas man, I am sure he had extra sprouts and bottles of dog on purpose. We are going to ask Llambias for complimentary gas masks up in the cheap seats. (we did discuss dust masks but remembered the hassle some lads got when the smoggies came into toon and so ruled it out). Then all of you lot should start on him and say he started it, the little fecker will be beaten up and banned from future games. Simples *makes meerkat noise*

  16. Theirs no need to have a TV, a chip in the ball with a beep or flash or something on the referee's watch (which can only be cancelled when the referee confrims he has seen the notice of the goal) is instant, I've seen situation in Rugby and in sport over the Pond where it takes time to look closely at the footage and come to a decision, which is still determined by the eye, this way their is no if's and but's, it's a Black or White situation on the decision if it went over the line or not.
  17. Only place I can think of are above the Gallowgate. Aye, yeah, I could imagine that. Would stop any further Stadium expansion like. Not really, I'm sure any expansion would be designed with a replacement TV being designed into the expansion if we ever get one.
  18. So assuming one of them is hanging off the Gallowgate and the other is on the wall (please don't take out any seats) then it won't really change any layout of the stadium or take any seats away. thats why i planned it that way. I do hope it does turn out that way.

  20. (Taking into account BottleDogs question) If England wins the bid in December then yes we will. For the Olympics we will host some games. We will also host games in the 2015 Rugby World Cup aswell.
