Yup, we level in this half, then we will win I think.

They still seem pretty shaky at the back, and a good ball through and theyare very vunrable, but so are we. Bloody Harper and playing cool when he's got a man on him, kick the bloody ball away you stupid idiot.
-
Yes, I hope nothing gets to him, be grat if he can score our winner.

The Northern Rock Plc Logo is exactly the same as the Old Northern Rock. So the current strip will look exactly like the current strip! I was going to get a mock up done saying plus 4 more years, but it may turn out to look like a bad advert for Labour. Don't want 4 more years of that shit.

This. You coming over to SSC later Johnny?

Tesco's are more interested in forming their own bank by having instore branches, along with buying branches that RBS, and Lloyd TSB have to sell off aswell as some of the Allience & Liecester branches Abbey will sell before it is merged with them fully. If the government sell off the 'good bank' (which is the one that will be sponsoring NUFC) within a year they are idiots and deserve to be shot. Why sell when the Financial market is at a low? They might as well hang on to Northern Rock and their Lloyds TSB and RBS shares until banking is booming again and then sell high. If Virgin, Tesco or Metro (some American bank) do buy Northern Rock surely the deal would have changed and therefore they wouldn't have to sponsor NUFC any more? Anyway, I now await a huge number of 'Daily Mail' readers and Southern tossers to start complaining that public money is being spent on NUFC via this sponsorship deal. Nah, wouldn't be a good idea, they would end up having to pay a high early release charge on the contract, and that is if NUFC agreed to it, if they didn't thne they would have to see out thev remanider of the contrat without any way of getting out of it cheaply. Plus it wouldn't look good for the company if they did that.

Yeah change the Tyne tunnel section float away to, "is floated into place, Northern Rock secures new deal with NUFC, and Labour do fuck all to help kids or anyone else" then they have pretty much got it spot on.

it would be great if we went up and they went down, though I doubt it's going to happen.

I'm not to botherd about Northern Rock sponsoring us, infact I'm pleased a local company is sponsoring us, so long as we get a good deal. It's just that I don't really want the fairly cheap looking Virgin Logo slapped across our chests, and as things stand Northern Rock within the next 6 months - 1 year is going to be bought and re-branded Virgin Bank. Still, I wounder if in future season ticket holders will have access to cheaper flights, and reductions on rail travel, virgin media etc and better savings and mortgage deals? I doubt it but you never know.

A 3-4 year deal at £10m (if we get £10m) doesn't seem so bad then for what is currently a Championship club.
-
Either a very very close 1-0 or 2-1 win to us, lets go 9 pts clear of 3rd.
-
Virgin Bank it is then. I'm assuming the Puma deal hasn't been finalised yet then, otherwise they would of announced that aswell.

So long as they arn't buying them off the web and getting them sent across they should be fine, if they did it that way they would then have to pay import tax. Best way to get them bought here, and send them over, may cost a little bit though, try sending it via ship instead of airmail, it brings the cost down but can take about 6 weeks to get there. I know because I have family in Canada and this is how we send our stuff over. Unless your planning a holiday anytime soon then their is no better way to get them across. I'm sure some sports shop somewhere over there would sell them though. You could try buying them from a USA sports shop, like here: http://www.soccernetstore.com/shop-by-team-newcastle-united-fc.html I think they do free delivery, but it costs about $70 for the shirt, plus $8 for lettering, and $8 for numbers, which is about £50-£60 each for a shirt depending on the exchange rate on each given day.

On a Similar note, I reckon if Sunderland lose the Stoke, Wigan and Portsmouth games then they could easily go down. They play Everton next in the league, then those 3 games, they could bein serious trouble if they lose those 4 games.

Should kick both clubs out and Give us the winners spot, see how well we do.

I'd rather Harewood on loan untill the end of the season, then waste money on Chopra who we all know will be no good in the Premiership.

Look at his clients list.

you know you could be right his loan at watford is done and we're looking for a cb. Probably nonsense anyway Probs, but you never know, thought it was worth posting, just incase. I do have a friend who is very high up in the right places, and every so oftern he gives me a little info, but unfortunatly this does not come directly from him.

I'm suspecting Cathcart.

I've heard some rumours (not sure of how reliable they are) that a new signing should be revealed just before kickoff tomorrow, or if his registration and such does not come through on time then he will be sitting in the stands. The rumours goes on that he is from Man Utd but he is not Simpson.

Watching the football league show last night, I relised that some team who plays in red (Bury possibly) have Nike as the shirt makers, and Nike also had their tick on the sleeves aswell, I'm sure I've seen this elsewere on Nike footbal tops aswell.

Smells like a ploy to get more money out us to be honest, I still think if we were to bid what they wanted in the first place they would bite our hands off, I just don't think he's worth that much.

The whole point I was trying to make is that, if we get promoted, establish ourselves as a Premiership club again, with the right backing this is the capacity we could realsiticaly have at SJP. If we can manage that, plus us hosting games in the 2015 Rugby world cup, and hoefully the 2018 football world cup and hoefully within the next couple of years, an owner who will back us, this is highly possible.
