Sorry for your loss mate. My stepdad is in hospital at the moment. Last week we got a phone call asking us what his wishes were. Fortunately he’s pulled through, although he’ll likely have no real quality of life and will be homebound forever, even though he has been for just over a year now. I quickly rushed up to hospital tonight to put some money on his hospital TV so that he could watch the match tonight. This is the guy who got me interested in football and took me to my first games. Even though I was nervous today and thought it would be so us to fuck it up, I wanted to make sure he watched the match incase we did something special. I’ve went on a bit of a tangent here, but I kind of get your pain, my thoughts are with you.

It’s happened again, It’s happened again, Blud fam, It’s happened again!

All the talk was about Arsenal making a comeback, Arsenal getting an early goal to unsettle us, the crowd being too nervous, their players saying they were going to score 5 goals past us like we were some kids in a park. No one, absolutely no one is talking about how good we are when we are on it. For as much as the likes of Arsenal on their day can beat us, we on our good day can beat them, and I’m telling you now, if we play like we have in these semi-finals, in the final, then we’ll win it, and I don’t care who we get. Us on our day, we can beat anyone.

Get in!

They have ran out of ideas once their player came off injured.
-
No lines so they can cheat.
-
Everyone down to everyone betting on them.

I think this will be a tighter game than people are expecting. I think Desmond on the night.

Even when we have been indifferent this season, no ‘traditional’ top 6 club has came to SJP and won.

No one has Twitter anymore, you can’t see the thread without an account.

For what it’s worth, Saudi Arabia are building a state of the art 92k capacity stadium for the World Cup that will host both the opening games, and the final. The total capacity for hospitality in the stadium would be equal to 3,859, that includes 120 private boxes, a 150 seat capacity luxury suit, 300 VIP seats, and 2,200 seats for distinguished guests. I can’t see our stadium going above, or much above that. So that would still leave about 66,000 seats for us regular people.

I’d argue that Spurs fans don’t hate it, they just want Levy out and use it as a stick to beat him with.

The Emirates is fucking shit. It has no streetscape, in fact you have to climb up to it to even get to the turnstiles. If we are building a stadium in a park, it needs to interact with the park. Having frontages open up to it so you can go to the restaurant/cafe/bar on non matchdays. It needs to interact on non-matchdays. The Emirates is just a blank wall around the vast majority of it.

Never ever take notice of what people who comment on newspaper articles say. They are only beaten to being the worst and thickest of humanity by those who comment on porn videos, many of them are the same people.
-
Aye but the first one not only has our existing stands, it also rebuilds a classic Ashley era Gallowgate end outside of it for those who are still locked out.
-
Either the Town Moor, or the Arena site.

Bibs would be fucking pissed if we ended up playing a few games at Murrayfield. We would have to alternate with Hearts because Murrayfield is across the road from Tynecastle. So then if you’re in Edinburgh, and Newcastle are in town, or you could go and see Hibs, where the fuck are you going?
-
I’d say it’s up to the fans and the citizens of Newcastle, and Tyneside to be doing all they can to put in letters of support, even sharing an online petition in support.
-
This, and the majority of the rest of the stadium will only be 20-30 years behind it.
-
Fans are allowed their view, but the ‘I’ve got my season ticket and I’ll not move despite it keeping others out, and holding the club back’ is allowed to be called out for what it is.
-
Yeah, quite possibly. I have always said that I think we are 6-10 years away from a new stadium. We are still probably 3 years away from spades on the ground.
-
I’d be 41/42, assuming there are no delays.
-
Yeah, and also add in chants of ‘1 Michael Oliver’, and ‘Saka come join us’ as well.
-
Yeah, ai’d accept 70k to be honest, but just under just seems like they should have just added an extra row around it.
