From what I understand, Everton not only went over the £105m threshold, but in doing so they deliberately lied too the Premier League, and tried to cover their tracks. On top of this their losses were actually well over £19.5m, in total I believe it was over £300m, but they were allowed to adjust this due to covid. They over inflated the price of their players on their books to make it look like they had more value, including the player who they sacked, who they tried to claim the money back.

It’s lenient as fuck. Let’s not forget that this isn’t just about £19m, but the fact that you lied to the Premier League, and tried to cover your tracks. FFP isn’t going to work if you hand out fines, and transfer bans, because clubs will just factor in the fines into their finances that they throw their way, and buy the players they want before a ban. You have fans of all clubs howling at the Premier League to stop us from buying players at will before we have even got started, and others wanting Man City dragged, and stripped of titles. You have the clubs themselves, of which I include your club, and your friends in hand from across city park, all voting to ban related party player transfers because the Daily Mail said in it’s transfer gossip page that we might loan a certain player. You either want FFP control or you don’t. You can’t have it both ways.

It’s not just that though. It’s down to how they lied and tried to cover it up.

Yeah I guess. I mean what she said, if I’m remembering correctly was just saying that transgender women are not women which I think she meant in a biological sense, but could easily have come across and also she could have meant in a more abusive sense. As I say though, if the club believe her acting that on social media could result in her being a risk to people in SJP then I believe they are entitled to ban her. It would be no different if someone said something racist or homophobic.
