  1. Did you not see them last year, it takes full on into tomorrow.
  2. Sorry to say like, but the team you had out tonight should have beaten ours, and you had the ability to put out a much stronger team than you did.
  3. Why the fuck does it take so long to do a fucking draw? It should just be done in a tree format.
  4. That was unexpected, but not unexpected at the same time.
  5. He’s the type of manager who I think will do daft things that won’t make sense, thinking it will be a shocking new system, only for them to get bounced, and he’ll keep doing until he gets sacked. There is no way this ends well for him now, the fans have turned, the players have turned, and even himself has turned. He could have given himself breathing space tonight by playing a full strength squad and giving us a game and likely winning it. He was stupid enough to actually think his 2nd string could match our 2nd string, many of whom are players who are trying to get into the squad.
  6. We have 4 left wingers on the pitch, he can’t catch them all.
  7. Sky trying to get all the adverts in, and crashing their system.
  8. Steve Wraith isn’t go to keep Hannibal on is he? I even think Casemiro is in danger of doing something stupid and getting a 2nd yellow.

    St James' Park

    Temporary stands at Kingston Park?
  10. They have just changed logo this year. Edit: It’s apparently all 3 kits for next season, and only for Elite teams.
  11. Reading have been hit with a winding up order. Looks like he’s going to get them super super cheap.
  12. Yeah it doesn’t make sense, especially when Sheffield Wednesday are effectively up for sale. At least there he would be getting a club with a bigger history, more fans, and people who actually want to go forward which he can pretend to do until he’s called. If Reading go down this season, then you would struggle to think of them ever being able to even reach the Championship again.
  13. This is a point that I always try to make. Getting aside from our on the pitch performances before he came, and the comparisons with Spurs when he arrived and when he left, there is more. Our training ground was one of the leading training grounds in the country. We were leaders off the pitch, we were one of the first to have those sports style seats in the dugout. We were one of the first to have those movable lights for the pitch. SJP had recently been expanded, and refurbished, with plans again to expand it further. By the time he left our training ground was below the standard of most Championship teams, and a few in League One, including one which was also in Tyneside. It was so bad that the club had to appeal to keep our academy at a grade 1 listing when it was removed by officials. SJP had barely seen a lick of paint, and the demise of the stadium in the time frame can only be likened to the Stadio Delle Alpi, which was built and left to rot in a similar time frame. Our fans cheered and applauded our new owners because they washed the windows within 2 weeks of arriving.
  14. I’ve always said that I wouldn’t wish him on any fan base, although there are a couple who are testing that theory, however I would like to see him own a club again in order to prove everyone else wrong. I doubt Reading have the calibre for anyone to really take note and care though. If he saves them from going bust, that will forever be the argument, he’s already seemingly got a free pass if they get relegated to League Two. People keep pointing at us and calling us deluded etc, yet they forget that the blue half of Glasgow fucking despises him as well, and he allegedly only ever owned 10% of them.
  15. Story as old as time. The people lower down are being pressured financially, and politically. They start feeling so desperate that they end up lashing out with violence.
  16. Would you rather listen to Neville splooging all over himself instead?
  17. Speculation in Canada that it maybe the Saudi’s who are going to take over the Canadian Premier League team York United in the next month. 777 were rumoured but seem to be dismissed, MLSE, the owners of Toronto FC, and Toronto Maple Leafs have also been speculated.
  18. That will be less controversial than ours yesterday, even though there is little in them and they are both soft as fuck.
  19. Not as torn as his hamstring will be in a few games time.
  20. Had Sports Direct stitched into the seats.
  21. Some fans on Twitter having a go at other Reading fans who want him nowhere near their club. It seems that some people can see through the lies. I think the Reading fans were pretty clued up on William storey as well.
  22. Fuck, looks like he’s after Reading. Imagine your club is up for sale and the leading candidates to buy it are Mike Ashley and William Storey. https://x.com/readingfanman/status/1718561293223809175?s=46&t=VdH0aGHsHSF2_7GgShF1MQ
  23. Aye, even though I keep an eye out for them, I can’t help but feel for the game to grow in Canada, having 1 team win 4 out of 5 titles, and being the finalist in the other one, isn’t going to make people think it’s competitive. When you have hired the coach who created the academy that is behind most of Canada’s young players these days, I guess it’s only going to go 1 way. Apparently he is under consideration to become the national team manager, and was interviewed for the Toronto job. Good news for the league though, as York United are said to be getting bought by a well known group, some say it is 777, others say it is MLSE, some even saying it’s a Premier League team.
  24. So in then Canadian Premier League, Forge are going for their 4th title out of 5m in the Play off final against their old enemy Cavalry. Cavalry scored in extra time, only for Forge to equalise. Early in the 2nd half of stoppage time Forge got a corner and did this to win it. https://x.com/onesoccer/status/1718425759918743579?s=46&t=VdH0aGHsHSF2_7GgShF1MQ Forge have actually scored like this twice before.
