So will the Southampton fans have to be outside selling tickets like they are a tout? Interestingly Southampton got allocated 3,000 more than the Riverside holds, so every season ticket holder will be eligible for sure.
-
Chelsea giving us false hope that Spurs can still go down, 2-0.
-
Yeah, get it fucked off.
-
From what I remember pretty much every club tried to play football, they may have been fucking shit at it, but they tried. It was the likes of Bolton coming up changed the tactics to the route 1 stuff that other clogger teams followed.
-
Arsenal are the original moneybags though. Moved out of South London because they couldn’t gain fans over the likes of Charlton, Crystal Palace, and Millwall, so they moved to North London under Henry Norris who paid the football league a bribe to be promoted over other clubs by miscalculating their goal difference.
-
They aren’t getting a congratulations out of me, a joke name attached to it or not. The Liverpool of London, fucking horrible fanbase.
-
6 minutes added on, the first minute was taken up by a stoppage, and a goal was scored, yet the referee blew on 96 minutes and 30 seconds.

Have you not heard, we’ve bought Leazes Terrace, just roll out some astroturf in Leazes Terrace car park.
-
Aye but we know that we can’t fit a bigger stadium on the same footprint. Parts of SJP backs onto the back of St James’ Terrace in the current configuration, so having the massive gap between it and a new bigger stadium like in your image is unrealistic.
-
They put money into it allegedly. To be fair anything to do with real estate and construction from the club I think will be lead by them, they have the experts in the U.K. on these matters.
-
Wives in Boro overjoyed that their husbands have booked them a spontaneous bank holiday weekend in London. I wonder if the train companies have been able to inflate their ticket prices fast enough?
-
This is it. You will still have people like England Heritage/Historic England who would oppose any infringement further towards Leazes Terrace despite us owning it. We also have to remember that there is a road immediate outside of the East stand which will be a public right of way. We don’t own it, and it will be difficult to get that public right away taken away.
-
It means the owner of the building that is nearest to Leazes Park won’t be appealing against a new stadium on Leazes Park. That is aside from the private apartments further back. I also do believe that the club in time will turn it into a new boutique hotel where they sell reservations as part of premium hospitality packages. It could also be used for officials that are required for other mainstream events.
-
We’ll still be away in Manchester on Boxing Day. Also Hull or Boro away on a Monday night could still be classed as a nightmare.
-
The article literally says that the owners prefer a move to a new stadium and that this purchase doesn’t change to the focus to an expansion.
-
Where does it stop? If they were not kicked out then Southampton were likely to be promoted and gain £100m overnight. A fine seems like a reasonable gamble.
-
And lost.
-
It implies that the focus is still on a new stadium.
-
Penalty takers outside the main 1-2, and which order they line up for them.
-
The appeal will be concluded tomorrow, but yeah it’s fucking shit for the fans.
-
Another year in the Championship and their final allocation of parachute payments.
-
They could still be hoping that the appeal saves them.
-
There are, but the club has only bought the section that has student accommodation and some small offices.
