Surely we could sign a Billing-esque forrin based player for a third of what Bournemouth would want? A player like him can't be that difficult to scout.

I don't think you can lump the BBC in as one or the other, there's far too many individuals connected with their own views. What I meant was that certain people within the BBC appear to be more than happy to continually poke the bear. Nowt wrong with that, I like riling the gammons as much as the next, I just think it's a bit of a shame when you replace genuine talent with those who are simply "affable and uncontroversial".

Good god I can't stand him

Because Gabby Logan is very good at what she does, she is there on merit. Is Aluko or Alex Scott? It's easy to see why the knuckle-draggers are out in force these days. Sometimes I think the BBC do it on purpose.

Can Girona and Man City play in the same European competition?

The kid is 17 years old. I cannot believe anyone is seriously knocking him for not being the finished article. He's comfortably our best academy prospect in a very long time. Looking forward to seeing him develop

It's great, the less activity the better for us.

We'll make Europe every year with this squad minus the ridiculous injury situation. In theory we should never have a worse squad than what we had last season, which got us to 4th.
-
We need decent "home grown" kids coming through otherwise we're going to struggle in Europe for years to come. We can't keep relying on untested 17/18 year olds who are 50/50 as to whether they're even going to be professionals in a few years to make up bench space. We need to take risks with the likes of Hall & Tino. Anyway, Hall is nowhere near as raw or naive as some are making him out to be. He's there on merit because he's a decent player now, at the age of 19.
-
He's 18 though, nobody knows how good he might be in 3/4 years. I think part of this is us toying with Chelsea.
-
More brutal, surely. Depends what they allow to be classed as turnover. I asssume there's nothing allowed from related parties?
-
Careful now. Although you're 100% spot on.

My dad reckons it was a guy called Tony Want
