It's funny how one or two start doing something different with their socks and then more and more start copying. Used to be the tape thing, then wearing them like stockings, now they're at half mast
Yeah cant remember why it was changed? Makes sense tho as it fits in better with other rules (all of the ball needs to be over all of the line for a goal, etc) and won't need a few minutes for intricate lines to be compared for VAR to decide if its offside
I was fishing in south shields early in the morning when we signed Shearer, some random bloke driving past slowed down, wound his window down and shouted over at us "the toons just signed Shearer for £15m!!!"
Unfortunately think we're stuck with it as it is until the end of the season. Would be unfair on teams that have had goals disallowed to change it at this stage
They need to get rid of dave jones like! "Explain how Leno would have a better chance of getting a touch on the ball with an open hand rather than trying to punch"
His fingers are a few inches bigger than his fist you freak, it explains itself!!!
Should be based on feet being in line imo, you want forwards to be leaning forward to encourage goals being scored. Benefit of the doubt is meant to go to the attacker for that reason, not ruling it out as 2mm of armpit is offide
