  1. positive thoughts overwhelming me..................................... shola your a genius (until the next match)
  2. luckily the chronicle has no clue whats going on
  3. i'd also like to extend my appreciation towards hughton who is doing a good job under difficult circumstances in a position he's rather not be in not to mention the dignity he brings to the position. If it came down to a choice between kinnear and hughton i'd take hughton in charge
  4. is that messi fellow available? seriously though micheal ball lovenkrands beckford skjlbred the norweigan we were linked to in the week watfords smith loan a cb from arsenal man u or man city surely one of them has a half decent one available for loan
  5. I don't think it's a full finance package! from what i can tell from numerous articles he has 70-80m ready but needs the balance
  6. hmm its worth pointing out that barclays posted a profit of 3 billion not long ago

    Jonas to Pompey?

they're broke but if we can get a player in a swap deal that would be fine, nugent would be perfect
  8. Assumption on the basis of Ashley staying and O'Leary being out of the running, I think. more less that but who knows we may get someone like curbishley..............................or ginola
  9. we made a signing! seems like a decent one too fills in a positon we're short in and has played championship level before, welcome danny simpson hope you do well
  10. an intresting idea i heard was that there is no bid and this is a ham-fisted attempt to try and get buyers for duff
  11. that was earlier the markets closed now and from what im reading in other forums jfks odds were falling fast
  12. this is ma we're talking about when has good decision making been one of his strong points
  13. Good!! Wants to much of a wage, Ashley won't budge BUT it does seem that the sale if off and he will be keeping us which means jfk would take over again which is much much much worse
  14. odd, sky bet and paddy power have suspended betting on next managers job
  15. we don't have a manager so how are going to make a signing
  16. would o'leary really be a bad choice as manager? ok he's not exactly the most humble of individuals but then again i really don't think any manager is terribly humble since the job requires a level of confidence to keep control of a bunch of overpaid children (essentially what most footballers are) with huge egos. While not exactly my 1st choice as manager (my personal preference would be curbishley) he is a proven manager and a large improvement on jfk or hughton (who is doing a decent job but as he's said himself is no manager) he has played and managed at the highest level and probably thinks he has a point to prove to the world of football for forgetting him. I have this feeling that the dislike of o'leary is not so much down to o'leary himself (though im sure its some factor) but moreso against the very idea of ashley staying, now i don't like it either but thats looking like whats going to happen and surely appointing a manager and getting on with things is better than the current situation of limbo and hughton attempting to keep things under control
  17. ..............................what was o'learys number again
  18. david craig knows nothing other than what llambias tells him and llambias knows nothing about anything
  19. something needs to happen alright one way or another the limbo must end and i'd put up with o'leary at least he would complain often about lack of cash
  20. david craig hasnt a clue whats going on either no one does
  21. i think lee ryder made those pr people up to make it sound like he had a clue of whats going on
