do the journal and chronicle even talk to each other?
-
so basically no one has a clue whats going on not even caulkin. Par for the course then. However just to play devils advocate here there are some who are saying that the sale thing was a ploy to avoid the transfer window and offload the big earners but while point one may be true point two there doesnt seem to be that much evidence for, after all its only a few weeks til the window closes and many big earners are still here, if he was trying that don't you think there would have been more outgoings? Suppose all will become clear(er) in time

ungrateful little **** who had heard of him before last year? now everyone is going to be praising arry saying oh where did he find such a player etc and meanwhile i'll be slowly going more and more insane over it -
as usual the chronicle doesnt seem to have a clue whats going on but should that surprise us?

Credit? its so see through, if I was one of the bidders I would be offended at the patheticness of it all. your thinking too much in circles and seeing any story that comes out in papers as a plant put there by ashley to attract bidders. the simple explanation is this story was put their by the bbc (which was more speculation than actual news) and its simply the mail deciding to run with this and make up some half correct sounding bullshit rather than a plant to attract bidders or up bids
-
again i think your giving them to much credit for intelligence to be able to pull off planting stories in papers to further their own agendas. they arent that smart!
-
I can only hope the Mail are as clueless as ever. Sounds like a planted story to bring out more money from Moat. isn't that a bit too conspiracy theory like you make it sound like they have agents working in papers to feed them false stories when we know they arent competent enough to pull that off. just press speculation based on the fact they like us no nothing

at this stage i'm beyond caring just get a manager (personally i think strachan or curbishley would do a great job) and get some players in so we can have a good run at promotion and i'll be content.
-
O'Leary to stay after that or Ashley to stay now? O'Leary, assuming Ashley f***ed off. I mean, would we place much on him getting us promoted? well in this hypothetical senario it would be hard to sack him if he got us up now wouldnt it He wouldn't be sacked, read it again. I meant if he came in now on a one-year deal and got us promoted - would the fans still want Shearer/someone else next year? sacked not kept on same end result, in my opinion in this senario he'd have earned another year, all ifs and buts though

i just want something sorted lets get out of this limbo get a manager in along with a few players and win this league by a mile!
-
well he's dull but theres worse out there than o'leary would prefer strachan or curbishley myself though
-
we need a manager and if its o'leary then so be it but one things for sure he will want funds or he won't take the job
-

My thoughts for what they're worth (2 sandwichs and a bottle of cider) Harper 6- did alright bit unlucky to have his head kicked off by shola around the goal R.Taylor 5.5 Looked uncomfortable tbh Enrique 6 alright in defence mostly nowt going forward S.Taylor 7 Solid performance Colo 2 i think im being kind here i blame him for the goal conceded Jonas 3 Ran with the ball but absolutely no end product too much diving too Duff 6.5 alright overall, nice finish for the goal Nolan 6 better 2nd half when he was forward more Smith 8.5 Excellent winning the ball back, lead by example pity he forgot how to shoot Shola 4.5 All he did was attempt to kill harper Carroll 7 Good game as target man Krul 8- Fantastic few hairy moments but what a keeper this lad could be Barton 6.5 looked lively Away Kit 10/10 its growing on me you know
