yeah I'd rather watch entertainment on the field than some asshole talking shit and mourinhio teams are not fun to watch despite how much resources he consistently has at his disposal

tariq panja @tariqpanja 7m7 minutes ago Swiss case alleges Blatter gave 2 million franc ``disloyal payment'' to UEFA head Michel Platini. Platini was favorite to replace Blatter and Platini caught up in it too, beautiful

this will sound kinda daft but it wouldn't surprise me if they tried for Allerdyce in that scenario, the prem moneys going up massively again next year (I think) so more than usual its essential to the club hierarchy to avoid relegation and I partly think Allerdyce's ego would love the idea of ashley crawling back to him and he can charge whatever wages he feels like because of how desperate they'll be.
-
going to happen when he's the guy in charge of identifying players and it turns out we have a team who look very rubbish and have looked rubbish more or less since Cabaye left. Part of it is down to the transfer policy obviously, but he has to take at least some blame since we know the manager has next to no input in who gets signed or even what positions get filled (maybe)
-
its toxic in the sense that the majority of them don't give a shit if we win or lose it seems
-
so watch him get sent off within 5 minutes
-
I don't know how but that post has put the possibility of Allerdyce showing up again if Ashley's desperate
-
could honestly be double figures if Chelsea remember they're actually good at football
-
10 I don't know if we're ever going to get a win not with this team

its damn good question, what manager of any ambition or talent would go near the club in the position its in now? They might have in the summer but now with it increasingly obvious this squad is rotten
-
Aye, this is the problem. Even if we'd brought in one of the flavours of the month in the summer, I suspect we wouldn't be far from the position we're in at the minute. reminding me a bit of the relegation season (somehow worse actually) theres some talent in the squad but a whole lot more who don't give a shit and a squad horrifically short in key areas-cb mbemba maybe decent maybe not and thats it for reliability there. CM we don't have one.

god I fucking hate Mourinhio and as for costa does he score goals anymore or is he just there to get people sent off and generally spit in the face of sportsmanship and fair play?
-
we're in a shitload of trouble, can't defend can't attack and absolutely 0 character or leadership in the squad
-
Mbemba looks a good player but not the type we needed IMO. Muscled off by that Deeney a couple times. Very comfortable on the ball and seems a good character. Wijnaldum. Scored. Not done much else. Looks to have ability though. Been below par as have the rest of the lads. Skipped a challenge and produced a good forward ball today, need more of that. Mitrovic. Got himself a silly suspension. Is a massive, massive player for us now though. He has to hit the ground running from now on. Thauvin. Going based on a few games and his reputation in France. Just isn't very good. Got on the ball loads today, showed very little ability. Looks fairly quick but.. a long way from Ginola, Robert & Hatem. None of those needed any time to settle either. Overall... this wasn't enough. None of those lads look to be the finished product or exactly what we needed. If Mitro can hit the ground running after suspension that could change everything. We all know that is down to Ashley and his penny pinching. the thing is we could have gotten Austin for not much more than we spent on Mitrovic

the press would be calling for his public hanging, instead they'll call it clever and praise mourinhio for his mind games
-
does costa do anything more than try and fight with people anymore?

Its further down the ladder I'd worry about, could kill off a lot of youth systems, costs a lot of money to run and in the end anyone of any major talent you produce will get taken for nothing.

This exact thing happened in Spain in the 80s, which ushered our current release clause system. I don't think the EU can't wave through a system that fundamentally prevents workers from leaving their jobs, so I believe there's a big chance they will rule in FIFPro's favor. This doesn't automatically translate into the kind of system they seem to desire, though. I.e. in Spain it was ruled that sportsmen could indeed leave clubs freely. What clubs did is introduce release fees in their contracts, those "release fees" are actually compensation sportsmen agree to pay if they don't see the end of their contracts. I'd like it if it was ruled in their favor tbh, although i fear it won't and i completely agree with them that currently the system is definitely anti-competition. not sure how removing transfer fees would change the fact its anti competitive, honestly if anything it would make things worse
