  1. Wenger seems to dither quite a lot in the transfer market. Still would be a good signing for Man Utd they need to replace Carrick considering age and injury record
  2. seems rather the opposite when it comes to top class players can't think of many who've gone onto massive success as a manager off the top of my head.
  3. that's random. not sure how I feel about it tbh and no way to tell how it will go, the lack of experience is an obvious concern but every top class manager has to start somewhere and his reputation as a player will give him instant respect from players (of coarse if he's useless then that will evaporate quickly)
  4. don't worry according to Richard Keys there have been no deaths its all a massive conspiracy
  5. the sad thing is how deep it goes, from fifa right down to almost certainly 90% of the national FA's even if got rid of the head of every single fa and all the major players in fifa the guys replacing them would be just as corrupt because they'd just be stepping up in rank and have been part of the whole crooked enterprise all along.

    Ryan Taylor

Seemed a good guy and scored a few cracking goals along the way (good lord that goal vs everton) right thing he's going but good luck to him.
  7. he probably wasn't going to get a better way to go, all the best to him
  8. I'm honestly surprised they haven't tried that shit with the yanks yet though I suppose the us government is hardly going to give a shit about what fifa thinks.
  9. each fifa member gets a vote so san marino have the same amount of say as Brazil, Argentina Germany etc.
  10. Ben Smith ‏@BenSmithBBC 18m18 minutes ago Blatter: "I must stress that those who are corrupt in football are in a minority ... football cannot be the exception to the rule." I wonder if he actually thinks anyone buys this bullshit
  11. Some great stuff on Sky News right now. Platini asked Blatter to resign. Blatter refused. Platini has not ruled out taking UEFA out of FIFA, etc... Explosive stuff... too he's as bad as Blatter, he after all voted for Qatar which even Blatter didn't do (iirc) and is too chicken shit to stand against him so sends out this prince ali dude to get beaten, frankly fifa uefa all the other confederations and in all liklihood the vast majority of the FA's are corrupt beyond redemption and need to be scrapped and started again.
  12. Inside World Football reports further African backing for the embattled Fifa president, with Guinea-Bissau FA president Manuel Nascimento Lopes describing the “conspiracy” against Blatter as “blasphemy”.
  13. apparently nike's caught up with this too
  14. Anshel Pfeffer ‏@AnshelPfeffer 5h5 hours ago The beautiful irony is that #FIFA has been trying for decades to get the Yanks interested in "soccer". They got the FBI interested at least.
  15. so how long until FIFA bans the U.S because of "political interference in football"
  16. Allegri's time with Milan post-Ibrahimovic was very uninspiring. There is probably more to it, but I remember Milan supporters being happy to see him leave. obviously he was far from the problem considering the current state of Milan
  17. so has anyone actually seen Burton this season?

    John Carver

because he turned them down and that annoyed them? Also from Derbys pov why sack him if nufc were still interested

    Steve McClaren

I'd be very meh if he got the job but find it hard to see them going for him after being knocked back (twice?) by him

    Steve McClaren

Damian Spellman ‏@DamianSpellman 3m3 minutes ago Cramlington, England Steve McClaren sacked by Derby. Was told today not to assume he'd be heading straight up the A1 to #nufc if that proved to be the case.
  21. jeez how stupid can you get with hernandez
