lets just say I have my doubts in the judgement on england players by the fa disciplinary committee

depending on the reasons why for the red (ie a "professional foul" vs hacking down the opponent violently) its a 1 game ban not 3. I don't like the rule but I'd wonder how many more incidents like Suarez in the world cup you'd get if it was just a pen, I'm cynical enough to believe some players would take their chances and blatantly try to stop the goal and take their chances with a pen.

Thought I saw this http://i.imgur.com/DrU0s2G.png suarez got a game ban for that on top of the ban for the evra incident (vs fulham I believe he did it) wonder if the fa will do the same to golden boy wilshire.........

always amuses me when a manager is under pressure from fans how you could basically copy paste the same complaints over and over again.

he can be brilliant but he doesn't do it often enough.

Who cares about possession. I hate this they have a lot of the ball so they must be playing well shite. Possession does not matter agree with this becoming one of my pet hates of football and "winning the possession" lets focus on putting the ball in the back of the net rather than tap it around in our own half

the fucks going on at Goodison

I'd agree with City but not with Chelsea, too many weaknesses in the side to win the title imho. Strikers past it (Torres and Eto) or have no faith from the manager (Ba) shaky defense and a keeper whos more prone to screw ups than a side competing for the title should have. Fantastic options for the 3 behind the striker mind. Compare to City who are the complete package once they get over the ridiculous away form they've been having which makes absolutely no sense. Negative. think the time out of the side will do Hart good tbh ultimately he's a very good goalkeeper who gets way more attention positive and negative than he should because of his position as England no 1.

optics of it really, letting in a late goal to Everton (and generally being 2nd best in the game despite the draw) screwing up vs Napoli and thus have a far more difficult CL draw that if they'd just drawn with them and follow it up by losing to City (heavily maybe given Citys home form) just doesn't look great for them and kills the momentum they had previously not to mention it makes them look like the Arsenal of the last few years screwing this up (relatively speaking). Get any kind though and its a real lift for Arsenal and shows a bit of fight in them and that they won't be making the same screw ups as before.

So were Dortmund Freakishly difficult group. its beyond belief that Naploi can go out with 12 but then you have Zenit though with 6. UEFA need to fix their seeding system

level of real analysis in the newspaper industry in general isn't all that impressive. There are good journalists here and there (for example Caulkin) but too many of the likes of Martin Samuel who just attack and twist things to fit their own grudges (see avb "analysis and comment"). Local press obviously will have lower standards but surely they can get better than Lee Ryder.
