should be willing to pay Madrid for the honour of seeing Bale play for them tbh

Manchester City vs. Newcastle United - 19/08/13 @ 8pm (Sky Sports 1)

will probably be overwhelmingly everyone thinks we'll lose every week but hey sounds good to me -
Exactly my fear. Don't know how any amount of pre-prepared outrage could outweigh the oceans of Gooner tears. Is it not in your interests to have them playing in an extra competition with a reduced squad this season. wouldn't they go into hell on earth and the doom of any side in it (aka the europa league)

Toby Fair @TopTopPundit 25s Transfer latest; Arsene Wenger tables 50p bid for unspecified target in Poundland
-
we should be paid extra to take Bendtner
-
seems to be deliberately ignoring arsenals obvious reasons for leaking it as well also apparently cabaye is now bale according to ssn graphics
-
He'll play, but he'll probably be rubbish, as he'll be sulking. or he'll want to shine to impress them............ Or he'll just be good because he's quite a good player. don't be silly we're in watching the body language tonight stage anything and everything can and will be interpreted negatively. Cabaye smiles? He's found out how much Arsenal are offering a week
-
thats..................excessive

it is when Moyes of all people should know exactly how much Everton would want
-
Fantastic, means they wont sign him then are we following the arsenal model of not buying or are they following our model of not buying?
-
I should hope so Wenger cheapness reaches new levels of miserliness
-
See, I know what you mean by saying they are worth more to Everton, but that's the whole point - the second bit doesn't really come into it. Everton don't need to even consider what would be the realistic value of those players on the open market, because that's not what they are dealing with - the only thing that matters to them is how much Fellaini and Baines are worth to them. Everton have no obligation to provide "value" in the transfer market. I fully understand that, but I believe we have bid market value for these players expecting a counter offer closer to Evertons worth of these players. I don't see how a £28m bid is arrogant or derisory, even if it wasn't the receiving teams estimation of their players. when you apparently offer the same price for Baines you did a month ago which they laughed at I'd call it arrogant and derisory (its apparently 16m for fellaini 12m for baines)

SSN going with the £10m and rejection
-
It's pretty obvious what is going on. They get tremendous stick from their fans on Saturday, so Monday morning, Arsene is hitting up google or maybe browsing Fifa Ultimate Team, looking to see where he can buy someone. Anyone, just get someone in. ridiculous how they've fallen apart in the transfer department last few years. They've descended into panic buy and crisis mode after one fucking game when they should have been sorting out these things a month ago when they're most important game is on wednesday
-
they've also apparently bid £20m for Pogba
-
They definitely knew this bid would get rejected. This is far from over imo. they'll posture for a bit but I just can't see them going to a price we'd accept and I definitely can't see Ashley lowering asking price
-
£20m would be on the low end of his value to Everton though, he's been their best player for a while and the best left back in the league for a few years. Fellaini's a different case as I get the feeling Martinez wouldn't be upset to get a truck load of cash for him and just buy James McCarthy to replace him but not sure if anyone will bother going near £20m as no one even troubled them when the clause was in effect

could be worse -
surely be to god they know these bids will just be rejected? is this arsenals version of we tried?!
-
Not a fucking chance. Hopefully he won't get a chance to decide. Years since that principle disappeared man. What do you mean? He might fancy a move to Arsenal in theory, but if we decide not to sell it's not a decision that's available to him. Player POWER!!!! its hard to see Arsenal going to our prices though, Wenger hates spending a penny more than he has to (see the "release clause" trigger on suarez of £40,000,001) while we like to rip clubs off
-
Arsenal board making fake bids, keeping the fans happy. £10m bid's not going to keep anyone happy. They'll see straight through it man, it's going to do them no favours whatsoever. they have to be seen to do something, hard to see arsenal of all clubs matching our asking prices
-
they'll probably sell fellaini this window tbh

s*** analogy, dude was de facto second in command of the Empire. Kinnear is defacto second in command at NUFC. does that mean flunkies can order Kinnear around like they did Vader?
