  1. because he said some bad things about them needing flags to get an atmosphere before a cl tie and Liverpool would never need that (or something equally stupid like that) which is apparently utterly unforgivable and a sign that he hates the club. Or just because he was Liverpool manager Well, he was right. yes but don't tell the spoiled brats
  2. The thing I hate about them is that they whine on like they have won f**k all for years (lets throw Arsenal fans in with them too) and have the balls to say we are over expectant when we have been through the wringer on numerous occasions with no trophies for over 40 years. You won the Champions League last year you utter c**ts. In the 80s you were a bunch of mindless skinheads and your club was on par with Millwall! I f**king hate Chelsea. Arsenal fans at least have some case to be p*ssed off at the board for constantly selling players and not replacing them and sitting on huge cash reserves while paying through the nose for it There is a radio show on each day here with Ray Hudson and Neil someone or other (Chelsea fan). You should hear the Chelsea fans complaining, its unbelievable. Arsenal have no trophies in 7 years and are in the CL every year: hardly that much to cry about. Not much but the arsenal board do fit every stereotype we have about ashley selling everything and pocketing the cash for himself rather well and plenty have moaned about that on here

  5. I love him too, but frankly, they've been disqualified from my admiration by (a) Ken Bates, then (b) Abramovich. Much like Man City, I ceased to think of Chelsea as the same entity when Roman bought them. Not a conscious decision, mind, just a gut feeling. tbh at least City's lot are dignified and seem to have common sense (or it could be my lingering good feelings to City due to my father being a fan for far longer than I've been around), Chelsea however....................
  6. really shows what an asylum chelsea are turning into, playtoy of a billionaire who changes his mind on the strategy on a whim and with a load of overinflated egos in the dressing room and spoilt brats in the stands.
  7. Henry Winter ‏@henrywinter Benitez fuming in press conference here: "These Chelsea fans have an agenda. These Chelsea fans are damaging the image of the club' #cfc Henry Winter ‏@henrywinter Benitez: "I'm experienced. I've won the Champions League, the Spanish league twice, the FA Cup. They (fans) are a group with an agenda'' Henry Winter ‏@henrywinter Benitez says #cfc fans 'must get behind the team or they will be in the Europa League next season' Henry Winter ‏@henrywinter Benitez: "Why put 'interim' in title? Why did they need to do that? Maybe they (board) thought: 'He was at Liverpool so we put 'interim' in'
  8. sanity prevails Inter are not going to be signing Carew
  9. Özil is a class player. he can be but tbh I'd have Bale ahead of him
  10. can't trust spurs to do anything right

bit more even in the quality (Cardiff aside and I still expect them to implode) than in our time there where us and WBA were obviously miles better than the rest If Cardiff are the best side, then the 3 relegation places NEXT year will be done and dusted by beginning of March next season with the 3 finishing top of the Championship going straight down the trapdoor. well they are the best, 8 points clear or something? Plus if Watford get up expect a boat load of loanee's from Udinese and Granada to keep them up
  12. SunSport Now ‏@SunSportNow Arsenal have announced half-year profits of £17.8M #afc

  14. tbh pre season I would have taken 9th and a good run in Europe thinking there would obviously be some impact and another 5th place was a bit of an unreasonable expectation-did not expect what actually happened but hey ho

I watched them on Saturday and they were a mess at the back. Mowbarys not exactly worlds foremost defensive coach, WBA under him had only a vague notion what defending was
  16. ESPN Classic being finished, shame. great pity indeed great channel and double shame because ESPN was free over here with both sky sports packages

    Football pet hates

oh that a million times over, very very very sick of it and by extension him now too
  18. not a clue how this will go, if we're lucky they might spend the next week partying after winning the cup but I doubt that
  19. right back to being convinced Reading will go down and what is it about the prospect of the arrival of spring that wakes Wigan up and turns them into a brilliant side
  20. so good to see Everton keeping up the tradition of being useless in one half of the season
