international breaks in general, apart from the tournaments themselves (mostly because there's football on every day) I have a low tolerance for international football these days. Especially this Friday game shit whoever thought up that idea ought to be fired. Well that and Ireland are going to get hammered by Germany Friday. Also more of an Ireland exclusive gripe but the notion among the media that McLean is something akin to Messi and that him playing would instantly solve everything wrong with not only the Irish side but also the economic problems and find a solution to world hunger in his spare time (I may have gone slightly overboard there)

The moment our first choice XI isn't fully available, we look vulnerable. Today for example, our back keeper was awful and our back up centre backs poor. Just got to hope that Krul, Taylor and Colo are all back for the mackems. most sides will look vulnerable without their first choice cbs and gk tbh

It is a bit shady. Friedel's performances this season hardly justify A) signing Lloris in the first place and B) dropping Friedel. The guy's 41 and still one of the best keepers in the PL. key point, Spurs had a chance to plan for the future and get one of the better keepers in Europe relatively cheaply so they took it, fail to see the great horror in this which the press have spotted

so 320 consecutive games starting by Friedel is ended guess we know what the press will be attacking AVB over now
