  1. thats not exactly the most dignified international retirement in history
  2. Aye, you were very unlucky not to be the top scorer this week - most correct results, I think. Just no correct scores! its progress at least, won't be happy while I'm behind lolro though
  3. keeping him at rb for the moment while he adapts to the prem might be the best idea, he's clearly not entirely up to speed with it yet in midfield
  4. general question but is it just me or have most of the top 7 sides from last season just not looked right so far this season? Neither Manchester has overly impressed, Spurs are finding their feet under AVB we've been far from convincing Chelseas been a mixed bag, only Arsenal and Everton who seemed to have gotten off to a real good start performance wise
  5. wow got 8 out of 10 results predicted correctly, the real question though; why the hell didn't I put actual money on it!!!!
  6. he's always a bit dafter than usual when just back from injury love him to bits though
  7. can't believe Inter let him go so (relatively) cheap, utter madmen
  8. their main issue for Man Utd their midfield is pretty terrible for a team of their stature, no one there to win the ball and generally drag his side kicking and screaming into the game like Keane did for them for years.
  9. we're still getting into gear this season but getting results so not all bad, was similar enough last season where we were far from convincing for a lot of the early part of the season but getting results. We know the team can and will improve as time goes on but all thats important atm is the result
  10. Wanted this to happen, but didn't think he'd actually go through with it. Looking forward to this now. Btw we have no other LBs. BAE is injured, Naughton was the cover (also injured). We got rid of Rose on loan because he's not very good (if you don't know where he went, have a guess), and were supposed to be getting Fryers from Man U but prem regulations let Standard Liege gazump us. Will be looking in Jan, unless Bale is awesome. hes been a disaster whenever I've seen him at left back
  11. QPR team v Tottenham: Cesar, Hill, Park, Wright-Phillips, Granero, Onuoha, Nelsen, Bosingwa, Hoilett, Zamora, Faurlin.
