right so we're getting nowhere near the champions league next season
-
Shola obviously
-
aye big problem with extra time is the fact both sides are too terrified of screwing up to have a go
-
strikes me as just filling space, lets just link all their players to other clubs type shit

Ben Smith @BenSmithBBC #LFC have renewed attempts to speak with Rodgers. No deal done yet but Rodgers taking the approach much more seriously.

Who was it who said Ireland could cause Spain problems? It was me. Old somebody or other on the FW podcast raised a good point that Ireland might be fucked after their first game anyway as that'll be the one where they'll have to push out a bit more as it's the one game they're not massive underdogs for. Trap will play every single game the same way, sit back give the opposition possession and try to catch them on the break

insane cash for someone who has no top flight experience and while his champ record is good its hardly outstanding
-
I'd certainly have him

Rooney could

I liked Nolan, seemed a good lad, represented the club well as captain helped bring back some dignity to the club plus 29 goals in 85 league games from midfield is pretty good

thats the thing, I don't see Barry as an anchor for midfield, he's better at keeping possession and passing the ball than purely winning and if England are going to go for 1 up front with Young or Gerrard behind then having Parker as the destroyer and Carrick as the passer both sitting deep could have worked well
-
you can't buy her experience though
-
if Ba goes why not

Reports are that Hazard is outside Old Trafford in a Chelsea shirt while talking to Mancini.
-
Campeones de Europa! @CFCchants HAZARD TO MANCHELCITY > DONE DEAL!
-
in the highly unlikely event of Hazard choosing to join us I'd be impressed by the club managing to get him but distinctly unimpressed with his attitude
-
Really? All evidence presented thus far suggests he doesn't
-
He could be a miss. While he's no superstar hes a solid player and a good passer of the ball and is more disciplined in that midfield role than either Gerrard or Lampard could be (though Lampards performances in that kind of position vs Barca and Bayern was impressive) plus never hurts to have as many winners in your squad as possible and he is a premier league winning player and he normally gets into City's side.
